As I finally take the time to reflect on the past two years, I realize I don’t even have enough words to describe what an incredible honor it has been to wear the green jacket and serve as a director on the National Junior Angus Board.

There are truly no better people than the Angus juniors, breeders, advisors, and mentors who make this association so special while allowing me to embrace my passion for the junior membership and Angus breed. This was truly the opportunity of a lifetime that challenged me and allowed me to leave a small piece of myself with those I had the privilege of serving.

As this chapter comes to a close, I leave with a full heart of gratitude, memories that will last a lifetime, and true friendships that I will cherish forever. While my time as a junior member has come to an end, my love for the Angus breed never will. Thank you to the @jrangusassoc and everyone else who has supported me throughout this journey. This organization has given me far more than I could ever give back, and for that, I will forever be grateful. 💚 #FTJ

From learning how to sleep in the van to, keeping a klepto from stealing signs, team bowling, first 💯 in an sci, failed finals, dinosaur rides, late nights at the sheep barn, hair dye jobs, movies in the van, snow ball fights, and so much more. I never thought I’d get so close to 14 strangers (coach included) but we all became family. We’re all a little messed up but we are all alright.
