Santa Clara, I found a new spot for y’all 👀🇪🇬

Me and @bigpoppaalicia 🔒 checked out Fatima Bazaar and got to experience some authentic Egyptian + Mediterranean flavors! Everything is 100% Zabiha Halal, and they have everything from kababs and shawarma to traditional Egyptian dishes like Hawawshi and Koshary. 🔥

But the hidden gem for me is definitely the outdoor lounge! You can grab your food and hang out, watch sports, sip some tea or coffee and just enjoy the vibes. ✨

Definitely add this one to your South Bay foodie list!

Had a chance to try Egyptian street food @fatimabazaar_ with @mustard.love for the first time and let’s just say the flavors was immaculate the hummus was chef kiss , the rice was welll cooked and the seasoning was on point 🧂🧑🏽‍🍳

While in the Santa Clara area, we stopped into Fatima Bazaar which is a halal market that serves fresh Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food in an outdoor lounge that was perfect on this summer day.

We tried hawawshi for the first time, indulged in all grilled meats, and ended with a dessert flight of all of their options.

Fatima Bazaar in Santa Clara is my new favorite hidden gem! It is a local mediterranean market that has been serving halal meats for 10+ years ✨

- hawashi egyptian meat pie: 7.5/10 the minced beef flavor was really good; but I enjoyed it the most with the orange sauce and hummus!
- house salad: 7/10 really refreshing salad with vinaigrette flavor! there was also onions, pickled veggies, and fruit in it.
- chicken thigh bowl: 8.5/10 the fries were fried so well!!! it was perfectly crispy with the perfect amount of salt. the chicken thigh was also very yummy especially with that orange sauce 😍
- kofta beef kebab: 8/10 standard beef kebab but still pretty good.
- new york steak kebab: 7/10 I’ve never had a steak kebab before so it had a pretty solid flavor, just wish it was a little more tender
- chicken thigh skewer: 9/10 this was my absolute favorite!!! it was so juicy and had such a good lime flavor I loved it! 😍
