One of my favorite parts of Comic Con was meeting independent creators bringing their own stories and characters to life!

I got to meet the folks behind @favepencomics at New York Comic Con and learn about their incredible work, including Emoni, Deja Vu, and Absolver!

There is so much creativity and talent out there, and I’m so glad I got to experience some of it firsthand. Check out Favored Pen Comics and show them some love!

I bet y’all haven’t seen anything like EMONI… 🫢👀
-
A character who’s got A PLETHORA of foes - old and new - WAITING to get their asses kicked by her…
-
A character who’s NOT AFRAID to “embrace the darkness WITHIN her” throughout the story…
-
You can get a LITTLE TASTE of all that in the images above, AS WELL as her INSANE STATS that really showcase how powerful she really is 🔥🔥
-
DON’T WASTE TIME with mere teases however; GO DEEP DIVE INTO THE STORY OF EMONI - by @favepencomics - RIGHT NOW!!
-
AND REMEMBER… if you’re at @newyorkcomiccon this weekend, YOU CAN GET A SIGNED COPY OF EMONI FROM THE CREATORS THEMSELVES (small press area —> booth 2046) ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Had an amazing time at Baltimore Comic-Con last week! 💥

I had the chance to stop by the Favored Pen Comics booth and chop it up with the visionary creators behind Déjà Vu and Absolver. 📚✨

The passion and creativity these guys are injecting into the indie comic scene is unmatched. It was awesome hearing about their creative process, and we even talked about some potential collaborations down the road. Stay tuned, because big things are definitely brewing! 👀🔥

Huge shoutout to the team for taking the time to connect. If you haven't checked out their universe yet, head over to their page and support independent creators! 🙌🏾

From the Red Carpet to Convention in under 12 hours.

Someone asked me this week how do I make it all happen. I told him I make it work because it has to work. We don’t pretend to want success. We put the work in to make it happen and favor finds us. Catch us at Baltimore Comic Con all weekend.

Some process pics from the upcoming DevaVu from FPcomics

Think it was around this time that I decided any interior art I do for comics will only be traditional.

Just felt better
