Another year has come and gone, and I’m excited to celebrate my birthday and everything that lies ahead. As I reflect on the past year, I’m filled with gratitude for the experiences, memories, and people that have made it so special. Life is all about growth, learning, and enjoying the little moments and I’m ready for another year of making unforgettable memories.

This new month begins on a high note for me as I reflect on a journey of six incredible years that ended beautifully this past weekend.

Over the weekend, I officially graduated from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), graciously bagging a First Class in Industrial Design (Textile Option)🎓 alongside my sister who stayed resilient all through the journey of her undergraduate studies.

It’s been an eventful 6 years filled with highs, lows, and countless lessons. Through it all, one thing that remained constant is God’s unwavering help and grace🙌🏾, I couldn’t have done it without Him💯

I’m deeply grateful to my amazing biological parents, foster parents and my sisters, whose love and sacrifices kept me going. To the friends I made along the way, I'm grateful to them for being pillars of support and for believing in my dreams.
To my departmental mates who also made the journey unforgettable; we learned, grew, and celebrated together, I deeply cherish all the moments we had together.

Special appreciation to my AFCF family and new family at CCI Akure for the spiritual guidance and encouragement that kept me grounded, my lecturers for their wisdom and mentorship, and my uncles, aunties, and other stakeholders who played significant roles in shaping my journey.

This chapter ends on a good note, but it’s only the beginning of many more amazing adventures ahead. 🌟

As we step into this new month, my wish for you is that your dreams become reality, your hard work yields results, and you experience abundant joy and success.

Let’s make December remarkable together!

Today, we shine the light on an amazing, beautiful, elegant Queen, Kayode Favour (aka favourKay)! Our Engraced of the Day!🔥

Favour Kay is an extremely jovial, compassionate, friendly, bold, super- active, fervent, and a remarkable person. She has a unique personality but also troublesome (pro max) in a cute way! 😄😜😂 When she’s with you, there’s zero worries cos she will make your day fun-filled.😊

When she speaks, it’s always engaging and you just must listen with rapt attention. She’s so full of energy and energy always ready to serve and give her best on-time. An advocate of, “If the lower level doesn’t come to the elders, the elders will go to the lower level” (sweet, right ?).

Other things about her? 🤔😎
She’s from the department of IDD (Industrial Design), she’s into Graphic and Fashion Design. Surprisingly, she’s not in the work force, but trust me she has been so dedicated, punctual and actively involved in the fellowship services, activities and programmes.

There’s so much to say about you, Favour Kay! And we bless God for giving us someone like you baby girl! ❤️

VALUES AND LEADERSHIP ✨✨✨✨

On July 15th, 2024, I had the privilege of being part of Alcanzar international Team @alcanzar_international , a team of leaders to organize a leadership workshop for over 100 participants at CCF NIFES FUTA in Akure. The workshop aimed to enlighten attendees on the crucial role of values in leadership, especially within their spheres of influence.

Here are a few key insights about leadership shared during the workshop:
* Leadership is purpose-driven.
* Leadership is a challenging journey.
* Leadership is about influence.
* Leadership is an act of service.
* Leadership involves building and nurturing others.
* Leadership is rooted in values.

A highlight of the workshop was an exercise where attendees were graded on the values they exhibit as leaders in their respective spheres of influence which i anchored. This helped them understand their position on the leadership ladder: Potential Leader, Aspiring Leader, Leader, or Leader of Leaders. It was an enlightening experience that emphasized how values shape us as leaders.

Special thanks to the team lead at Alcanzar International, @olufemi_aoa Akinola Olufemi Adebisi, for the opportunity and his guidance.
