Join us for the opening celebration of “Let Us Gather in a Flourishing Way: Contemporary Latinx Painting” tonight, Friday, October 23 from 5 - 7 pm! Organized by the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, this exhibition celebrates Latinx painters and showcases 58 artists who actively enrich the landscape of contemporary painting.

Additionally, guests are invited to a curator and artist discussion about the exhibition on Sunday, October 25. Registration is encouraged; sign up on the Art Center's website.

An exhibition organized by @buffaloakgartmuseum. #BuffaloAKG The exhibition is supported by the Henry Luce Foundation.

These two projects were done in July of 2023; Working Classroom gave me a great opportunity to be apart of the Sandia Hot exhibition with Justin Favela where we made giant food! I made 15 biscochitos to commemorate towards my Quinceañera and to talk about how for some families COVID ruined the tradition of being able to celebrate when their children were 15.

The second project was also offered to me by Working Classroom, we did a bench mural at the RailYards as an assistant for an artist who already had a set design, I had the pleasure to work with Brianna! I’m so very grateful for both of these opportunities.

What a time I had at @unlvtheear. Thank you for the invitation and the warm welcome. I had a fun time speaking, but really enjoyed my time with the cohort. You have incredible students and artists. Special thanks to @lyri55a, Bri, Hikmet, @krystalrmrz, Pati, @marinashaltout for the hospitality. The list goes on. Thank you @favyfav for the studio visit as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I hope to be back soon.
