Today I celebrate 45 years of me living in nyc, after coming here from Chicago at a young 18 years old. Through up and downs I’m still here and wouldn’t change anything. I don’t have a long speech as I got work to do. I thank God for all the trials and tribulations and the losses that help me appreciate the wins,I’m grateful for the family I have made here, I’m also thankful each and every one who has helped me when I needed you and every couch I have slept on. I’m grateful for even my haters you taught me a lesson. Thank all of you who are following me and supporting my business. I will continue to turn these whores out lol. I will continue to be pour into others and be a vessel, RIP to all the beautiful souls who blessed my life during my time here but didn’t make it this far you are never forgotten, thanks papa @faw1949 who convinced me to come here and study dance / theatre , Here’s to another 45! Now back to work ! I’m just getting started !

I rarely post images of my family on my insta page , as many of them are private and they actually don’t live thier life in the spot light like me not that I’m a celebrity or anything but I respect thier privacy, my brother is extremely successful and he lives a very private life he never wants his picture taken and I respect his wishes , my niece @teeny_falu sent this picture of my sister @vivianglenn55 & I earlier yesterday, and it made me extremely emotional because it bought up so many emotions this was taken in the eighties I don’t remember where but it’s so full of love as Viv is my chosen sister we could not have been any closer then we are for many years. She saw me before I saw myself. She would say things to me that I hadn’t realized, when I would get lost in my thoughts she would look at me and tell me to stop thinking so hard, she always reminds me how much I do for people and push others, she always knows how to reign me in when I get lost. To this day she’s my biggest supporter. Cheering me on at every stop letting anyone and everyone know how much I accomplished and how proud she is of me. Family is not always defined by blood but by who God chooses to bring into your life. I love you Vivy you are my Shero. I loved this sweater it was silk from @giorgioarmani and the pants were @byblos if I’m correct, I used to be a big label whore lol. Once I become a stylist I cared more about my clients instead of myself even though i still love a frock I’m no longer a slave to fashion.. #stillstandingstrong

Had the incredible experience of not only visiting Paris, but getting the chance to celebrate another year around the sun with my mentor @mykel_c_smith_creative_ and the talented @brittcarpenterstudio. I can’t thank you both enough! From the Effiel Tower, to the Lafayette Gardens, witnessing you both work with @marilynagencyparis, cooking at home, watching Top Boy, visiting the Cathedral and much more, I can honestly say you gifted me a milestone moment for life. Major shoutout to @simplykayj for making sure we were comfortable and ensuring we experienced Paris in a way most can only dream. Your presence was surely missed. Loads of love to @memsor for always dropping wisdom and guiding me through the streets of Paris. @elias.khatal Thank for a dinner my taste buds will never forget. Lastly, getting a chance to meet my mentor’s mentor @faw1949 it was clear the wisdom I have been receiving was planted there long ago, such a pleasure to be in the presence of a treasure. I am eternally grateful ❤️‍🔥😇🙏🏽

Lately each Birthday I have been able to celebrate out of the country or away from NYC, last year it was @artbasel & Barcelona. This year it was Paris France, I had also been to Paris for a few weeks during the summer. This trip was bittersweet because of the election results. Like all Americans and artist I don’t know what our future holds or even looks like. It’s a very weird and unsettling climate like never before in my life time. I almost wish I could have stayed but every country has its problems we just don’t see it because traveling as visitors or tourist we are shielded from the actual problems but they are there even in France. I am American and I’m not running away from all I built. We are praying for the best but bracing for the worst. I am thankful for the grace the higher power has shown me throughout the 62 years I have been in this earth , my journey has not been easy but I’m proud of myself, this foster child from Chicago has done some incredible things, made inroads that others have failed at. Started my own motion with @mykel_c_smith_creative_! I have opened the doors for others, such as models , hairstylist etc on & on. My work here is not done our ancestors have faced worse We are now dealing with a modern day situation that we all will have to fight. So let’s brace ourself we are in for a bumpy ride! I want to thank everyone who wished us a happy birthday @brittcarpenterstudio who is my sister and took this picture and his birthday was celebrated as well. Thank you to my new face @naz_rio2 my bestie @memsor for traveling half way across the world to celebrate me I love you.. to my papa @faw1949 for coming to hang with his son. To my daughta @simplykayj for the beautiful birthday gifts. To @marilynagencyparis for the wonderful models. To @chanelle86 for the cash lol. I am taking a break from social media for a minute only the occasional post here and there but I’m done with the deep diving in regards to politics and the vitriol which is spewed everywhere the threats, the retribution for not voting for him on & on. I did what I could do, no I didn’t like the outcome but its has really opened my eyes, but the United States will get the God they asked for just wait and see.

@brittcarpenterstudio & I are celebrating our birthdays in Paris this year with a few friends my daughta @simplykayj is hosting.

Britt and I will be there a week earlier then on invite to meet with agencies & showrooms etc.

Our Friends will arrive the 7th and we will depart on the 13 so if anyone is there from America please hit us up we will be having a soirée on the 12th my actual Birthday, I didn’t plan to get to 62 to have this going on with our country. It’s making me anxiety ridden and depressed so I have to push it aside and focus on creativity. Fear is how they win our leaders need to put a stop to his terror reign. They can’t be running up on people everyone’s not going to take it. Take your win and be Happy the other shit is so unnecessary they just going buck wild a win should be good enough!

My sissy @brittcarpenterstudio and I will be celebrating our birthday together in Paris from November 28- December 13 2024. I haven’t even starting planning but it will all come together. Further details for our friends who want to join us coming soon . I didn’t know if i should be away this long but hey I deserve a vacation you only turn 62 once right?

Happy Independence Day Saints what ever that means we ain’t free yet to be honest . Anywhoo I had such a catch up with my Papa @faw1949 I didn’t have many mentors growing up , a few high school teachers growing up etc . I have been on my own since I was 16 , after spending some time in a foster home I came out and reunited with my family around 15 by 16 I was doing my thing still in school but living on my own . I met my Papa at 17 when I was out in the clubs lol (long story will be in my book ) Frankie took me under his wing as he was living in Chicago at the time a transplant from NYC , he is partly the reason I came to New York to pursue acting , dance .. He saw the talent in me when some others thought I was too fast or just out there . I stayed with him my first trip to Paris . I was way ahead of my time growing up in NYC I had so much at a young age , the dope apt, the car , the dog , the closets full of designers clothes , the boyfriend , the sugar daddy etc .. Frank guided me all along the way scolded me when I needed to be , @brittanicastewart & papa stayed in my ass when I veered off course. Papa has been living in Paris for years now , we caught up yesterday a few hours long conversation , Papa was very ill for a moment we thought we would loose him as he had about with Covid and Cancer , God saw differently he is better and sounds wonderful as he still can read a bish. I reminded him that I was turning 60 soon and he remembered when He was visiting from Paris and we were at his NYC Apt at his dining room table and I was crying and hysterical that I was turning 30 lol he was laughing so hard he said Michael ( my government name ) you will be fine I’m sure if it and look at me now. He is much better thank you for all your prayers . When I got off the phone with him I cried like a baby. .. God thank you for keeping my papa, partly who I am is because of his guidance and love. I love you Papa long live King Frank ..

Good Morning Saints please pray for my spiritual papa Frank Walker as I heard he is not doing well , he has been battling cancer for while now has Covid .. I just talked to him a few weeks ago and we had a wonderful kee -kee you would never know he was sick his spirit was so joyous , we talked about so much and he actually made me feel better .. I know he will pull through with prayers .. Partly who I am is because of the lessons he instilled in me as a young artist coming to NYC in the early 80,s cmon Papa we love you and God is in the healing businesses.. He lives in Paris so we need global prayers, chants , love all positive energy directed his way and pray for my big sister Allegra Wilson as she makes her way to Paris to be by his side ..
