My senses light up this time of year with layers of verdant greens, fresh produce & flora from our local farms, and clippings from our hops, rosemary, and apache plume at home. It’s a creative act to spend time in the garden and to be surrounded by nature’s abundance. Thank you to the kind people on the Design Services team at the @designwithinreach Boulder store for helping me finish our outdoor space. Perfect pieces to complement and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us. #DWRPartner Special thanks to @fawnsleap for these late summer florals and @kellichristinephoto for the portraits

A peek into the @blackcatboulder food experience during our Makerie retreats. Everything made from scratch, fresh from the farm, each bite filled with love. Down to the homemade butter. Even tiramisu customized with each student’s initials to play off the letterpress theme. Creativity can be found in every farm corner. Does it get any more special than that? Just a few of the yummiest things we ate during the retreat ~ vanilla chia pudding with peaches, oat streusel, and candied lemon; roasted broccoli with fresh garlic in harissa sauce; corvina sea bass with thinly sliced lemons and cucumbers; farm butter lettuce salad with apples, roasted beets, and Taleggio cheese. Thank you, incredible Black Cat kitchen team ~ @soph_and_pip @averyskokan2 + many more. *beautiful flowers by @fawnsleap

A&L’s wedding day was a reflection of their own story- full of intention, depth, and a focus on moments & details that will be heirlooms for the rest of their lives. From the same church the groom’s parents wed, to the rich floral palette, and the sailcloth tent reception each progression of the day revealed another layer of their timeless love. . . .
