On June 2, we gathered to celebrate the AANHPI artists and professionals who have been a part of the 2025-2026 Broadway season.

Look how brilliant our community is—tag the folks you see in the comments!

AANHPI was last month and we’re still partying! Thank you, @aanhpi.bway for this lovely afternoon gathering of community, celebrating the 2025/2026 Season as well as Broadway’s long running shows! Asian American actors, designers, stage managers, creatives, and producers met up at @vocoroofbar for sunshine, food & drinks, stories, pics, connections with friends old & new, and summertime merriment to joyfully uplift our endeavors on Broadway. May we continue to celebrate our stories being told and our voices being heard. I was honored to represent two shows this season: @qovmusical and The Balusters @mtc_nyc! 👗: @showmeyourmumu

✨ Meet the 2026 Musical Theatre Songwriting Challenge Mentors!

These incredible artists will work closely with the winning students to bring their songs to life and provide valuable mentorship during Winners Weekend and beyond.

The 2026 Music Team will be overseen by Music Supervisor Dylan Glatthorn and Music Director Anessa Marie Scolpini. The winning songs will be orchestrated by Faye Chiao, Teresa Lotz and Anessa Marie Scolpini. The winning students will be mentored by Rebecca Hart, Rob Rokicki and Melvin Tunstall III.

Over the next several weeks, song will be professionally orchestrated. Winning students will come to New York City this June where they will work with mentors and musicians to hone their orchestrations while learning about process, technique and production. The final compositions will be performed by Broadway artists in a concert at New World Stages in New York City on Monday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. ET, also available to watch live and on-demand at arts.gov/songwriting and namt.org/challenge.

Learn more about the Songwriting Challenge and how you can attend the Challenge Accepted Concert in person in NYC at the link in our bio.

AMDA Family! Come see “Fountain of You” by @fayechiao and @tasheroonies, an irreverently funny take on our preoccupation with youth, beauty, and the patriarchal system underlying it all.

Students, contact a cast member for tickets OR show up an hour before the show to join the stand-by list! Staff and Faculty, be on the look out for an email closer to the production dates! Non-AMDA members must be invited (by cast or production) to be able to see the show.

Directed by @goldinig, with choreography by @theandresacosta and music direction by @bryanblaskie, this dark comedy is sure to be a fun time!
