✨ Artist Spotlight: Mimi Cronin ✨

A quick shout-out to not only an incredibly talented queer artist, but also a wonderful friend and neighbor, Mimi Cronin. 🤍🏳️‍🌈

Mimi is an artist in just about every sense of the word. They’re an exceptional ceramicist creating beautiful custom pieces—from espresso cups and sake cups to stunning vases, mugs, bowls, and full dinnerware sets. They also create beautiful handmade jewelry, incredible drawings and prints, are an amazing crochet artist, and make custom embroidered patches that have already been flying off the shelves!

It’s been amazing watching their work grow over this last year, and if you’d like to see it for yourself, be sure to check out their pop-up at the Erie Canal Skate Jam! You can also find a rotating collection of Mimi’s ceramics at Aurora Brewing Company, where you can pick up a one-of-a-kind handmade piece for yourself or a gift.

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a custom set of mugs, bowls, or plates made just for you, send them a message! Every piece is handmade, food-safe, completely unique, and a whole lot more beautiful than the plastic dishes filling our kitchens (and probably our bodies with microplastics).

Support local Women. Support queer artists. Support people who pour their hearts into what they create.

Give them a follow at @mimicroninart 🎨🧶🍶✨

And one more quick shout-out to Ray @faytestudio for not only being an incredibly talented artist, but also an amazing friend. If you’ve driven downtown from Syracuse’s west side, chances are you’ve already admired some of their incredible artwork along the way. Thank you for making our city a little more beautiful every day. ❤️

🌈✨ COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Fayte Studios ✨🌈 @faytestudio

Today we’re sending a whole lot of love to Ray from Fayte Studios.

Not only is Ray an incredibly talented queer artist and a dear friend of the Femme CNY community, but they were also one of the biggest reasons our CNY Pride float came together as beautifully as it did. From helping bring our vision to life to creating eye-catching pieces that made our float stand out, their creativity, hard work, and dedication helped make the day truly special.

If you’re looking for custom signage, banners, menus, event décor, painted pieces, or creative solutions for your business, organization, or next big project, Fayte Studios has you covered. Their talent extends far beyond painting alone—the craftsmanship, artistry, and attention to detail they bring to everything they create is genuinely impressive.

We’re incredibly grateful to have someone like Ray in our corner and as part of our extended Femme CNY family. Supporting local queer artists means supporting the people who help make our community vibrant, visible, and beautiful.

Show Fayte Studios some love, give them a follow, and keep them in mind for your next creative project. We can’t recommend them enough. ❤️🎨
