When a shibari artist and a climbing guide go out together, magic is inevitable 🧚‍♀️ ✨

I set up a block and tackle style haul system on a tree by the ground, attached to the belay strand of a climbing rope that I had set up with a static line at the top of the cliff. I pulled @faytied part way up this gorgeous wall at Canada Cliffs so she could play around in her hand-tied shibari harness and embody her faerie nature 🤗

This was fun and I would be eager to explore different ways to set this up in other climbing areas 😈

Hit up @faytied if you are interested in a trauma-informed, private shibari rope art session and hit @jessbeneski up if you want to go on a climbing adventure in Acadia National Park 🤭😉

We are both pretty dang fun 😄

Me when I’m a reporter at the tied-up lady museum 🪢 👀

I had the pleasure of watching @hajime_shibari work live to create this installation! One of the coolest experiences ever to see the process of someone whose work I’ve followed for years. The models were fantastic and the final result was so breathtaking ♥️🕸️♥️

Felt like Jesus if he was crucified on one of those rope ladders at Discovery Zone 🫡

Big thanks to @hajime_shibari and his team for letting me come and be a part of his installation this past Friday 🙏
