𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 🔴⚫️

▫️The morning kicked off with some European football 🌍 on display at Elizabeth Park as we welcomed KFF Academy from Malta 🇲🇹 who brought teams to play our U9 Lions & U10 Puma Reds junior sides - some exciting young football was on display and it was good to see grassroots football development from across the continent.

▫️MJPL football continues for our U11 & U12 sides. The U11’s were on the road today, away at @ardenforestu11mjpl whilst @norton_lindsey_fc faced our lions at U12, and ran out 5-0 winners in a contest that didn’t match its scoreline.

▫️The afternoon brought about its usual dose of senior football. Over on the newly established Pitch 13, there was a goal fest as @whetstone_fc_a fought out a 4-4 draw with @woodhouse_imps_fc in County League 1.

▫️On the road in the Premiership, the reserves succumbed to a 1-9 defeat @amblesideathletic

▫️Lastly, @whetstonefc faced a stern test in Premier Division side @fckhalsa in the Everards Tiger League Cup, and gave a good account of themselves despite narrowly losing 1-2.

Honoured to capture the memorial match for Junior — a true part of FC Khalsa whose legacy still brings people together years later.

More than football today… it was about memories, respect, and community ❤️⚽️

Big respect to Shelby for organising such a special event and keeping Junior’s spirit alive through the game he loved.

📸 Moments like these remind me why I love photography — preserving memories that matter. #FCKhalsaLeicester #MemorialMatch #footballphotography
