five seasons, a thousand lessons, and a lifetime of memories.

sometimes you have to get lost to discover who you are. you have to be willing to fail, to start over, to be the youngest in the room, to know nothing, and to embrace the discomfort of becoming someone you’ve never been before. confidence isn’t the absence of fear, but the willingness to keep going despite it. you build it by falling, getting back up, and realizing you’re capable of more than you ever imagined.

learn to appreciate the process. not everything will happen when or how you imagined it, and that’s okay. sometimes life has something better to offer than what you originally asked for. keep moving in the direction that makes you feel alive, surround yourself with good people, and leave room for the unexpected. the world is far too beautiful to spend your life standing still, waiting for the perfect moment to experience it.

be good to people. give without expecting anything in return, forgive often, take care of yourself, and never become so consumed by chasing something that you forget to enjoy being alive. and if life gives you the chance to open a door, hold it open for others, too. there is something so beautiful about being part of someone else’s discovery of the world, about helping someone see a place they once only dreamed of. some of life’s greatest gifts aren’t just the places we get to see, but the people we get to bring along for the journey.

spain, i’m holding back so many tears as i write this. thank you for giving me so much more than i ever came looking for. thank you for the lessons, the experiences, the friendships, the love, and every person who made a foreign place feel like home. to everyone who believed in me, took a chance on me, and became a part of this journey, thank you. i leave knowing i gave everything i had, and i couldn’t be more grateful for these past five years.

some chapters end without taking anything away from what they meant. they simply leave you with more of yourself than you had when they began.

Some journeys start long before the final destination.

Diego Castaño met FC Odisea at one of our showcases. From that first opportunity, we stayed by his side, helping him take the next step towards competing in the United States with an academic and athletic scholarship.

Today, we’re proud to announce that Diego is taking that next step at UCLA. 🎓⚽️

We were part of his journey yesterday.
We are part of his present today.
And we want to be part of his future tomorrow.

🎉 Vuelve a comenzar una nueva temporada de Lliga Comunitat.

👉 Para celebrarlo hemos preparado un post dando la bienvenida a los 7 equipos que llegan a la categoría desde 1FFCV: enhorabuena a @fcodisea, @udaldaiacf, @atco.barriolaluzxirivella, @cf_gandia, @massanassacf, @santapolacf y @cfalmoradi por el ascenso. ¡Bienvenidos a Lliga Comunitat!

🔎 Algunos apuntes interesantes:

🔄 Los equipos recién llegados mantienen más jugadores de la temporada anterior que los ascendidos el año pasado: un 65,3% de renovados, frente al 54,68% de los equipos que subieron la pasada temporada. Una mayor continuidad para afrontar el salto de categoría.

🌱 @fcodisea vuelve a Lliga Comunitat con un equipo muy joven: 21,6 años de media, situándose entre las plantillas más jóvenes de toda la categoría.

⚽️ @udaldaiacf llega con la pegada por bandera. Fue el equipo más goleador de 1FFCV la pasada temporada, con una espectacular media de 2,8 goles por partido. Además, se ha reforzado con @alexruiizz__, uno de los máximos goleadores de su grupo, que marcó 19 goles con el @cdfbeliana.

🧤 El @santapolacf llega con unos números defensivos impresionantes: solo 20 goles encajados en 30 partidos la temporada pasada y hasta 15 porterías a cero. Una carta de presentación que demuestra el nivel defensivo con el que aterrizan en la categoría.

Big things ahead for Caden Abt as he prepares for the next chapter of his journey overseas with FC Odisea Academy in Spain.

These are the moments that make the work worth it.

The countless touches. The uncomfortable sessions. The details. The mistakes. The adjustments. The discipline to keep showing up when nobody is watching.

Our job at Elite has never been to simply make players look good in training. It's to prepare them for wherever the game takes them next.

For Caden, that next step is overseas. 🌍⚽️

Proud to have been part of the preparation, but even more excited to see what he does with the opportunity.
