A heartfelt thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes, including the wonderful people at @wearestrongercharity. Your kindness and love meant so much to me 🩷🩵

A huge thank you to my birthday celebration crew, who made my evening at @123vegan_w1 so magical and fun! 🎉✨💛

Lately, I have been experiencing mixed feelings about my age.

Peter Pan syndrome? No, but because the more awareness I gain and the freer I feel from my past, the more I want to fully live life. Sometimes that makes me wish I could stay younger for longer, as if I could reclaim some of the years that were taken away from me.

The night before my birthday, unable to sleep, I watched on YouTube FestivalBar 1993 as @rafriefoli with “Il battito animale” came up, 😍 adorable ❤️
It brought back memories of a significant year in my life. It was the year I passed my secondary school exams with excellent marks, but it was also when feelings of guilt and shame connected to childhood sexual abuse began to surface and affect my mental health.

Part of me wished I could relive that moment of achievement with the self-awareness, compassion, and freedom I have today. Perhaps that is why I sometimes feel entitled to a longer youth.

I am taking these reflections gently, one step at a time, trusting that greater understanding and peace will come.

In the meantime, the love, joy, and energy I received from so many wonderful people on my birthday made those thoughts fade into the background.
