Proud of former FDU men’s volleyball player Diego Diaz (MSA ‘26), who recently spoke at Protect College Sports Act Press Conference on Capitol Hill!

Diego currently serves as the Chair of NCAA Division I SAAC, advocating on behalf of all student-athletes!

We want to congratulate Ibrahim Dessources for making the USA Volleyball All Star weekend! This is Ibrahims 2nd year being selected to play for GEVA, where he will be representing NJ/WCT/GSE at Columbus, Ohio for some highlevel volleyball. He is the only player in district history to achieve such a goal. Ibra also recieved 4 Division 1 offers, two with athletic scholarships and 5 Division 3 offers. After alot of thought he has decided to do what is best for his family and decided to stay local, where he will be playing for FDU!

To know Ibra is to know perserverance in human form. He has worked so hard to better his game while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. Ibra is the second player in district history to play Divison 1 volleyball! 1st to make the USA all-star team, Keep soaring Ibra, we are sooooo proud of you! Can't wait to see what next. It truly takes a village! Special Thanks to CoachJulian, Garden State Volleyball, the Bryant's, the Tsamadias and of course the Eagle Family! We are truly great full for all of the help and support!

Congratulations to our TIEBREAKER, Pedro Munoz @pe.munozz, on taking this next step in his academic and athletic career at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he will join the FDU Knights Men’s Volleyball team @fduknightsmvb. Competing at the NCAA Division I level, the Knights are members of the Northeast Conference (NEC) and are located in New Jersey, USA. In Brazil, Pedro played at the Novo Ideal @voleinovoideal and Centro Olimpico @adcentrolimpico volleyball clubs. His most recent achievement came with Centro Olímpico, where he played a key role in the team’s 2025 São Paulo State Championship (Campeonato Paulista) title 🏆.

Forever a Knight!⚔️

Five-years. Two degrees. Countless memories.

It’s been an honor to wear the burgundy and blue. What began as a dream to compete at the Division I level became a journey that shaped me into the person and leader that I am today.

I am forever grateful to the FDU Knights community from administrators to support staff to my mentors. I am able to walk away with lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you, FDU!
