DECONSTRUCTING A HUMAN SACRIFICE runs October 16 at 9pm and October 23 at 7pm, presented by the @emergingartiststheatre as a part of the Spark Theater Festival, at the 28th St Theatre (TADA!)

SYNOPSIS: In rural Kentucky, 1933, Lucinda Ward Mills was consensually murdered by her children in a ritual human sacrifice. Almost a hundred years later, her great-great-great granddaughter Erin Proctor digs up her family’s dark past and tries to find a through line between her ancestor’s tragedy and the fragility of her maternal line. Has the circle finally been broken? Join Erin as she has a bourbon with the ghost of her triple great grandma, and tries to deconstruct her human sacrifice.
