on a serious note, I’m so grateful for my community here in Manchester. love you all 🫶🏽🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

📣 MORE ACTS FOR BITRATE. 🦡🍄🐍

We're pleased to have @lifel00000se & @luckyirisband join the lineup, who will be doing DJ sets to set the vibe of the night to come.

Futhermore, we can confirm that the internet legend @weeblsstuff will be playing a rare live performance as our very special headliner.

Weebl has been around since the times of deep internet lore. Badgers, Narwhals, Magic and Meats... Whatever the subject mater, there's probably a bass-heavy weebl song about it.

Not to be missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Introducing... @fearofmarko
GENRE(s): alternative // electronic // hyperpop

🎟️ via DICE & RA (see link in bio)
(early bird rates + friendship tickets still available)

BIO:

Marcus Anthony Connolly (fearofmarko) is a Manchester based artist, producer, and songwriter whose genre blurring approach has earned him a growing reputation within the UK’s alternative music scene. First building an audience through self released music and visual content online, he developed a dedicated following by combining emotionally driven songwriting with a distinctive creative identity.

Operating at the intersection of alternative rock, electronic music, and modern pop, fearofmarko creates music that balances nostalgia with forward thinking production. Drawing inspiration from early internet culture, forgotten MySpace era aesthetics, and the DIY spirit of underground music, his work channels familiar influences into a sound that feels contemporary and uniquely his own.

Since emerging from Manchester’s underground scene, he has performed across the UK while continuing to refine a multidisciplinary artistic vision that extends beyond music into visual storytelling and world building. His releases explore themes of identity, connection, and digital age escapism, delivered through expansive production, memorable hooks, and an unmistakable aesthetic. With a growing catalogue of releases and an increasingly engaged audience, fearofmarko continues to establish himself as one of the most compelling emerging artists operating between alternative, electronic, and pop music today.
