Inspiration can lend us to so many amazing creations, over the last few days in between resting I went into the garage, mixed some paint and dirt and created a Mediterranean feel to this piece of pottery!

To reveal it seemed only fitting that I share this project with the page open on a photo of my inspo @styled.by.mel If your not already following Mel, you really need!

Remember: What you say to another woman matters. This afternoon I spoke to a wonderful girl that I have not spoken to for a few weeks and what she told me gave me goosebumps and a huge thrill. She was working in her own travel business before Covid. You can imagine how tough her last couple of years have been. Continuously cancelling bookings, telling people the venue/airlines they had booked with weren’t giving refunds, booking then cancelling and tough endless conversations with disappointed clients. It hit her hard. She lost her enthusiasm, her drive and worst of all her love of her business which, because she was extremely good at it, was a loss for all of her clients aswell as herself. I spoke to her a while back asking her to help me with my @venusgetaways bookings because I had lost my assistant and I felt she would be great - I said things like I didn’t want her talent, work ethic and fantastic attitude to be lost to the world - then another client called her and asked her to arrange some travel for them, to which she agreed. Those interactions she told me today got her going again and now - she’s doing a 50 hour week again simply looking after the clients that love her without advertising or marketing in anyway. She’s too busy to help me with Venus now but thankfully she can arrange my travel which is in fact exactly what I want to see her doing because I know it brings her joy. So remember. Lift people. Help people. Point out their talents. Give them faith in themselves. Help them to understand what would best serve them right now and maybe you’ll one day feel as good as I did today when I got that call. Much love to you all, be there for each other. Nicky xx PS thanks to @carlii_lyon and @nickleary_ for lifting me in this photo shoot big hugs 😘😘#womensupportingwomen #begoodtopeople #bekind #liftothers #womenliftingwomen #theboatprincess p#

Excited!!!!!! I don’t know about you but I need some good stuff to look forward to in 2022 and I figured the best thing we could do was get some Blue Mind and Bubbles on Sydney Harbour together. Now normally to get on a boat like this you would have to spend thousands of $ but because our lovely friends at @exclusive.hire have arranged an event for us we have reduced that to 100’s instead. You can come cruising with me on the stunning Prometheus for a full 4 hours enjoying bubbles and soft drinks and some seriously yummy food. We shall laugh, chill, network, share, probably overshare, and best of all get an amazing mental blue mind boost and even better you can do instagram posts to make all your friends jealous (oops did I say that out loud?) seriously girls I am soooo excited about this event and can’t wait to meet you all. Amazingly we already only have 22 tickets left out of 34 and if you book before the 1st Feb it’s $349pp. Book after that and it’s $399pp. So get your skates on, book a ticket and send me a DM to let me know you have so I know which gorgeous peeps I am spending my afternoon in March with! See you there!!! Love Nicky xx link in Bio xx #boatingevent #theboatprincess #sydney #networking #womeninbusinessl

Fab late lunch out with these beauties today. As women in our own businesses it’s important to surround ourselves with other women in business that we trust. Running your own business can be tough and lonely sometimes no matter how successful you are - so having a “brains trust” you can go to is important. Varying the age range is important too because it gives you different perspectives. Tag your brains trust below - because part of supporting each other as women in business is shouting their business names from the treetops to make others aware of what they do to further build their success. Encourage and support other women in business and all rise together - it’s far more fun than competing against each other xx PS Sydney boaties - where are we? love you @ventureandgainagency @feather.and.flame and love what you do xx #womeninbusiness #woneninbusinessrock #womensupportingwomen #theboatprincess
