Mythologue. A live show I directed in Brazil in 2018 blending circus, poetry and mythology, and one I think of often at the moment. Missing frolicking around sand dunes in Florianopolis with this lovely lot 💙 and yes I did love Dune part 2 🪱

KingDom is opening the @queerartsyyc FairyTales Funhouse: Subversive shorts on Saturday 19th June! Our second festival in Canada 😻

‘From experimental art films to boundary- pushing comedies, these midnight movies are for the fans of the weird and the wonderful. This evening is guaranteed to be bold, daring, and unapologetically queer. Adults only!’ Sounds very fitting indeed 👑 💕👑✨

Well may was a little bit hectic but amazing. I've been involved with some really cool and fun projects and can't wait to be involved with more.

I got to do something completely different for me and lipsync ABBA while stripping and doing aerial for @derwunderlichrevue - where honestly I had the best time, absolutely reminded me how much I love being on stage.

@quiplasharts had a @barbicancentre open lab, where we looked at accessible clowning with some amazing mentors and fantastic people.

I was involved with the amazing @feathers_of_daedalus_circus rigging @cockpittheatre and counterweighting the fantastic performers.

I was in rehearsals with @shesaidjump for their stunning show The Guy In The Luggage Rack (seriously its beautiful go see it) and will be touring with them later in the year.

All in all a fantastic month and a great way to spend my last few months as 36.

If you want to see more of this kinda shit, book me and the amazing people I work

Image descriptions:

Image 1, Joel a masc biddies person is doing a split towards the camera on stage. They are bathed in a pink light and smiling ecstatically. They are wearing very little, just rhinestoned neon orange and mesh lingeree, a neon yellow wig and are holding onto an Aerial hoop to their side.

Image 2. Joel is sat in an Aerial hoop, moodly light barely illuminates them as they rest their arms above their head. They are wearing jeans boots and a black top. The text says rigging dream boy

Image 3
3 smiling people are taking a selfie with a dimly lit table on a stage behind them. From left to right is the smiling tousled haired @bad_ass_blindy with a neon yellow vest with a black top over it. The bespeckled cherubic face of @novel_mode peeks out in the middle also wearing a black vest, with Joel is on the right wearing a backwards baseball cap and a black top with white lines on it . The blue light gives everything in the picture a blue hue.

Image 4
Joel is on top of the @shesaidjump rig. A massive rig shaped like a football goal. They have climbed up (very carefully, they are afraid of heights) and are sat on top legs spread looking happy as they absorb the view from god knows how many meters up

Happy International Dance Day!⁣
⁣
Today was in fact the day we received the final cut of ‘Eternal Hourglass’ - the short film we are featured in by @jvymeris .⁣
⁣
Thrilled to share with you these beautiful photographs taken during filming. I love the world of circus where dance, acrobatics and theatre fuse as one. Excited to share the film soon!⁣

Narcissus opening night was INCREDIBLE.

Beautiful show and a standing ovation to top it off. Loving getting to play with @porschaspresent and @russlanigan and watching @mollybethmorossa @lauren.jamieson and @saya_koala do their thing is just amazing. We've got one more show tonight and there's a few tickets left!

Gorgeous rehearsal pics by @rahpetherbridgephotography, production genius and all round organisational wizard @jvymeris
