Ran my 10th consecutive @houhalf half marathon and 64th half marathon this past Sunday! Thankful for a decade of the best run vibes at the 3rd largest race in Houston 🙌 This race was my 2nd half marathon in 2016, I broke 90 minutes for my first time on the course in 2019 and I’ve used the race as a workout the last 4 years before or after a major marathon. 1:31 finish time with a negative split and 3rd AG. Thankful for slightly cooler temps this year but still waiting for a day that won’t leave my hair in a rats nest 🤣 that houston humidity was out in full force!! Loved sharing the day with my run club @lifetime.baybrook.runclub and seeing so many runners hit PR’s, course PR’s or complete their first half marathon! The way the city shows up to run, cheer, support and volunteer for this race makes it so special year after year! Feeling ready for @nycmarathon next Sunday and then it’s back to Houston to compete the @harraruns warm up series in route to @chevronhoustonmarathon. Soo excited for the next few months of running!!! 🤩 Huge congrats to all who ran last weekend, see you next year for year #11 😉 #halfmarathoner #houhalf #runhou #lifetimebaybrookrunclub #marathoner
