This journey began 18 months ago and found its first milestone this weekend: Estrella joined the boxing club @soulboxingclub in Palma - eager to become a boxer. She found great coaches and a supportive team there and trained for her first fight. At the Campeonato de Baleares Joven y Junior 2026 she had her debut in the semifinals and won in the first round.
We were all overwhelmed: She was so happy and proud - for me as a mother it has been an emotional rollercoaster. Seeing your former babygirl punching and getting punched was hard but since she found her sportive passion in the ring I am all in as well. Only people close to boxing know how much it takes to keep up the 3 rounds of 3 minutes - not to mention the physical preparation and discipline to cut your weight.
In the end Estrella did not win the finals but a lot of experience in this championship. And I as an emotional mother learned to trust in her confidence.

Thanks to the amazing coaches and team @soulboxingclub 🫶🏽
