What can a broken teacup teach us about healing the human body? 🪡

On 2-3 October, Palazzo Olivetti Rason in Florence hosts “Mending the Body Through Art” — an interdisciplinary gathering bringing together artists, doctors, psychologists and curators to explore repair, resilience and care, inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi.
Held during @BIAF_Firenze and "Broken" exhibition in @palazzostrozzi, the gathering opens to the public on 3 October with talks and a commissioned live music performance.

Federico Gallotti - noto come The Flat Boy - è un produttore musicale, beatmaker e DJ; fa parte del collettivo napoletano La Scimmia Records e ricopre il ruolo di A&R per l’etichetta danese Tartelet Records. Un traguardo significativo della sua carriera è la produzione di *The Napoli Exchange* un progetto che unisce un collettivo australiano a musicisti napoletani accolto con entusiasmo sia dalla critica che dal pubblico internazionale.

Federico Gallotti - known as The Flat Boy - is a music producer, beatmaker, and DJ; he is a member of the Neapolitan collective La Scimmia Records and serves as an A&R for the Danish label Tartelet Records. A significant career milestone is his production of *The Napoli Exchange*a project uniting an Australian collective with Neapolitan musicians which was enthusiastically received by both critics and international audiences.

His DJ sets range from funk to acid-jazz and post-disco, offering a unique and sophisticated sonic journey that reflects his constant pursuit of innovation and authenticity.
