The Sauce team have been putting their annual leave to good use and kicked the year off with some incredible trips! What is a holiday without delicious food? We thought we'd share a round up of some of the best eats from afar:

Looking back at 2023, the brands team have eaten some incredible meals. We wanted to share a round up of some of our personal favourites from the past year! 🍽️ 🥂

🍴 Crispy Duck with hazelnut puree, walnuts, shallots and green beans from @strakers__. The duck was velvety with a crispy outing. A similar feeling to the crunch of fresh snow with soft powder underneath. OOF so good. @freyamartini

🍤 A simple, spicy and fresh seafood som tam on the beach in Thailand. Visiting a friend I hadn’t seen since before Covid - dreamy. @meganpryor

🍷 @PeaPorridgeRestaurant at home in Suffolk, an underdog with a Michelin Star. I'm not usually a pork fan, but the Presa Iberica with crispy chickpeas and grilled quince was sensational! @_charcrowe

🇫🇷 @RacinesParis. A beautiful and intimate bistro-cum-wine cellar that uses only the best Sardinian produce. A meal that will stay with me forever. @zabibaskitchen

🐟 Delicious garlic butter prawns from a restaurant in Lisbon. @tanishaleighchang

👖 @SlowBurnLondon in Walthamstow, a veggies based restaurant that share a space with Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, the craft jean makers. All the dishes are made using local community grown ingredients and it's absolutely 10/10. @meadhbhmaxwell

I honestly believe Finn will make it as a chef one day. He loves making food and last weekend, I took him to @eatalylondon London’s cookery school ‘La Scuola’
to learn how to make authentic Italian pizza. Finn was taught how to make the dough from scratch and create most most mouthwatering pizzas. It was not unlike any other class I had been too. Finn learned lots about the food and some brilliant techniques too.

Across the summer, Eataly will be hosting an array of hands-on cookery classes that celebrate the diversity of Italian cuisine. Perfect for entertaining little ones in the summer holidays.

Getting in the Christmas spirit at the Sainsbury’s Pud You Dare pop up!

I’m a huge Christmas pudding fiend, so a pop up based soley around Christmas pudding is totally up my street.

I had the classic Christmas pudding and the caramelised biscuit cake, both of which were delish! For our toppings we picked vanilla custard (obvi), salted caramel sauce and crumbled fudge. We also had coffees and hot chocolates on the side.

All in all, super yum!! 🎅🏼🎄🎁
