Rivolgendomi a lui gli ho fatto vedere come piace a me mangiarli.

🥣 Breakfast or still life? Why not both.
Natural morning light, golden oats, and blueberries dressed to impress.
This bowl wasn’t just styled — it posed.

✨ Edible florals, a swirl of honey, and just enough texture to make a photographer skip their own breakfast.

Tell me — do you eat it or frame it? 😄

📸 Eat it or frame it?

Much like the importance of conserving water in Mediterranean cultures, and the need to pause, recharge, and reconnect with nature, stepping outdoors with my camera is where I find space to breathe and create.

Shooting outside allows me to notice the quiet, effortless dance of light and shadow, and to work with what’s naturally available in the moment.
I’m also deeply inspired by observing how other creatives approach their craft , how they move, see, and respond to their subjects.

The colour-focused creative retreat I attended in Málaga earlier this year, where these images were captured, offered exactly that: a much-needed boost of inspiration, a space for connection with others and with myself and a new depth to my storytelling through light, composition, and colour.

While editing these photos, I found myself returning to the atmosphere of the villa: the timeless beauty that surrounded us, the understated styling that was always considered and full of intention, and the joyful sense of creativity and togetherness that made that part of the Mediterranean feel so alive.

As a food photographer and stylist, I’m always striving to evolve — to refine how I tell visual stories that connect emotionally and support meaningful growth for the brands I work with.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about travelling. Maybe because I constantly see beautiful photos from Italy. It seems nowadays everyone goes there to eat gelato and pasta 🤣 I know I would go in a heartbeat but that’s not in the books for me this summer 🥺

However, I’m wondering if we enjoy travelling so much because we nourish our childlike approach to life while visiting new places? If you think about it for a second, aren’t curiosity and admiration common emotions we felt then 🤔 And just like kids, don’t we create valuable memories out of ordinary things?

One of those adventures was my trip to Malaga earlier this year 💜 I was blessed enough to meet some new friends and reconnect with my old ones. It didn’t take us more than one meal to create long lasting connections 🥰

In my opinion, that’s the point of trips (besides admiring nature, architecture, fashion, local food and culture) 😁

Thanks to my dear friend Seema who organised this new community photography project Color & Emotion, I’m sharing a few images from that trip with you.

Any plans for summer? Are you going to Italy? 🍝🍦

Yuzu Martini - Sip - Repeat🍸🍋‍🟩✨
Every place has its own color — and Málaga, at golden hour, glows in warm amber and laughter. ✨

These two images are my entry to @seemarosephotography and @roberta.dallalba beautiful invitation to feel, observe, and create together.

This moment:
Sun slipping low, air buzzing with ideas, friends full of light.
That soft southern glow wrapping around us like a filter made of joy.✨

I tried to capture not just the look of it, but the feeling —
creative energy, freedom, and the kind of warmth that only comes when the right people meet in the right place.❤️

Where do I start? A gathering of beautiful souls, in a paradise location, fuelled by cr we the journeys, exploration and a few cocktails. Pure joy in its most raw form.

Assisting and teaching @roberta.dallalba and @ishealthyphoto on their retreat is a week that I will hold in my heart forever. The laughter, the emotion and the sharing of likeminded souls, so precious in all forms.

Holding up my cheeky cocktail and crisps to all you gorgeous people, cannot wait to see you again soon

How often to you celebrate yourself? 🥂

We’re often caught up in the hustle-chasing more, doing more, learning more. How often do we actually pause to recognise our wins, growth and the connections and the people that have shaped us?

Take a moment today and reflect on how far you’ve come. Look back with empathy and honour the journey you’ve been on, then get excited for what’s yet to come.

Would you share with me a small win that you are proud of? Let’s support each other and take a moment to appreciate and celebrate.

This image is part of a second collaboration project with @fedetheclumsychef, a beautiful creative soul that I can call a friend 🧡🤗
