Our federal workers are democracy’s allies.

Many of them are directly witnessing the dismantling of our vital infrastructure and are just as outraged as you. No matter the administration in power, these people took an Oath to uphold our Constitution, and they are uniquely positioned to stop or slow authoritarianism’s rise in the United States.

In our sixth installment of “Federally Yours: True Stories from Civil Servants,” hear firsthand from federal workers what role they think we can play to preserve democracy, and what that exactly means to them.

Are you a federal worker or ally ready to join our movement? Head to our link in bio to start your advocacy journey.

Democrats are seeming increasingly likely to win the midterms, and Politico is reporting that investigating DOGE will be one of their first orders of business in a flipped Congress.

This is huge news for every American whose services were slashed and whose information was stolen by DOGE (read: "every American.") DOGE's rampage through the federal government was so damaging and widespread that "any number of committees in both chambers could stake a claim to probing a piece of Musk's dealings."

Our work isn't finished, though. Let's build the momentum that we need to actually ensure that a Democratic Congress holds this white supremacist, authoritarian trillionaire to account.

For the last 200+ years, the very thought of America falling victim to authoritarianism seemed unfeasible. But sadly, that is our reality today.

Though everything must eventually come to an end—including dictatorship—the hardest task lies ahead in recapturing what we’ve lost by building back better.

Part of that process demands that we each do our part to return to democracy by exercising our right to vote.

We know that the road to repair the damage we’ve withstood is undoubtedly going to be long, winding & maybe even a bit painful. But by standing up, together, we prove that we remain dedicated to preserving the ideals of this country and the Constitution... for the long haul.

And with this in mind, we present the fifth video in our series: “Federally Yours: True Stories from Civil Servants.”

Now presenting the third video in our mini-series, “Federally Yours: True Stories from Our Civil Servants.” And this week, we’re asking: who really are federal workers?

We emphasize that although federal workers exist strictly to serve the people of this nation, we are really just regular people like you. We’re not a part of some “deep state” conspiracy, nor are we reptiles in a federal swamp. We’re friends, family members, and neighbors who often work tirelessly every day to ensure every American has what they need to move us all toward a brighter future, together.

But if we are to fulfill the ideals our nation was founded upon, it will take all civil servants, and YOU, working as one to realize this country’s full potential. Capturing the spirit of Benjamin Franklin, we must continue to honor and uphold our oaths and our republic, if we are to keep it.

Elon Musk could get investigated by Congress after the midterms, with more and more members of Congress publicly committing to do so. But we need to push if we're going to get the investigation Americans deserve. Join us at the link in our bio in pressuring our representatives to commit to holding Musk and DOGE accountable! #InvestigateDOGE

Most federal employees enter public service with just one goal in mind: to serve.

Service can mean a lot of things. It’s helping families put their lives back together after natural disasters, decontaminating our water supply, funding research grants to treat disease and illness, or strengthening the nation’s many diverse communities with local outreach. That is service. For you, everyday Americans.

In this second video in our mini-series, hear what happens when the agencies and civil service the country depends on becomes politicized by a few. It has a cost to all of us.

Remaining committed to our oath as public servants, we again present “Federally Yours: True Stories from our Civil Servants.”
