bring your mini me to work day 🥹 she climbed right up, posted herself next to the table, and watched every move like she was taking notes. my tiny apprentice 💛 she doesn’t know it yet, but she’s watching her mommy build something from nothing. one day she’ll get it — for now she’s just happy to be in the room. supervision fees will be discussed with payroll 😅 #mompreneur #workingmom #sugaredbeautybar

Long Island moms… we finally have our own play place 😂🍹 The kids had an AMAZING time playing at Social Playhaus in Plainview and meanwhile the moms can actually sit back, grab a drink and eat something GOOD! 😝 My favorites were the avocado toast & goat cheese flatbread! A beautiful play space for the kids + food and drinks for us?! Everybody wins. 📍 Social Playhaus | Plainview, NY Save this for your next mom date + follow @littleislandmama for more Long Island kid spots! #LongIslandMoms #LongIslandKids #LongIslandWithKids #PlainviewNY #LongIslandFamilies LongIslandParents ThingsToDoOnLongIsland LongIslandKidsActivities MomLifeLI LongIslandMom

exfoliation alone will not fix ingrown hairs if your daily habits keep the skin inflamed. ➿ most clients come in thinking they need to scrub harder. but when the barrier is already irritated, exfoliating just adds more friction to tissue that is already swollen around the follicle. the real shift happens when you address what is causing the inflammation in the first place. 1. stop layering underwear under tight leggings. synthetic fabrics trap body heat and sweat directly against the skin. that constant friction presses fragile new regrowth back down into the follicle before it can break the surface. the double layer creates a seal that never lets the area cool down. 2. if you only wear pads, switch to an organic brand. conventional pads are made with plastics, synthetic fragrances, and chlorine bleached fibers that sit flush against the most sensitive skin on your body for hours. that trapped moisture and chemical contact causes surface irritation that gets mistaken for stubborn ingrowns. organic cotton lets the skin breathe and reduces the reaction. we love @rifcare 3. skip the underwear at bedtime. sleeping without underwear removes 6 to 8 hours of friction and compression from the area. that is when the skin barrier and follicles actually get a chance to calm down and repair overnight. giving the tissue that recovery window makes a visible difference between appointments. exfoliation matters, but it is one piece. reducing daily friction, switching materials, and giving the skin time to breathe does more than any scrub alone. . . . #estheticianlife #sugaring #ingrownhairs #skinbarrier #skincareeducation

how to master your soft paste // felicia spent 2 days in hands-on training with me, and the before vs after says everything. when she started, the paste felt “really soft”, her molding + flicking needed adjusting, and her goal was to focus on trimming down her services. we dialed in on her body mechanics and shifted her over to a soft paste mapping guide. watching her gain total control, pick up speed, and protect her joints in real time was so special. felicia @silverbloombeautyllc is joining me as a guest on my upcoming live soft paste mastery webinar on september 24. we’re walking through her story and breaking down the exact mapping and technique guide step by step. comment SUGARED below or head to the link in bio to grab your spot. #sugaredbeautybar #spicyselfcare #thesugarededit #sugaring

“A person who works with their hands is a laborer. A person who works with their hands and their brain is a craftsman. A person who works with their hands, their brain, and their heart is an artist. Be a sugarist.” when you are first starting out in the treatment room, your focus is entirely on your hands. you are managing the paste, keeping tension on the skin, and figuring out the physical rhythm of the service. over time, your brain steps in. you start thinking about body mechanics, skin mapping, and adjusting technique with soft paste so your body stays supported through a full day of clients. the heart is what changes the entire experience. it is the calm presence you bring into the space, holding care for the person on your table, and treating sugaring with intention from start to finish. 🍋🍯💦 join our founder september 24 @ 7pm to learn how to master your technique!

Brows are intimidating… until you realize sugaring gives you a little grace. 🍯 ⤵️ Brows can feel high stakes. But here’s why we love teaching brow sugaring… If you remove a little too much paste, you can simply apply more and start again. Because sugaring is water-soluble, it’s incredibly forgiving throughout the service. That’s one of the many reasons we choose sugar. 🍯 Precise ✨ Gentle on the skin 🌿 Never hot 💛 Made with just sugar, lemon, and water It’s clean, simple, and gives artists more control while creating beautiful brows. Welcome to The Sugared Edit—where we teach technique with intention and confidence. link in bio to join the waitlist, 1:1 training drops next September! spicy self care #SugaredBeautyBar #TheSugaredEdit #BrowSugaring #SugaringEducation #EstheticianTraining Sugaring BeautyEducation RoslynNY LongIslandBeauty CommunityOverEverything
