Long post…

Micro joys help us survive macro grief.

The last six months have changed me in ways I’m still trying to put into words. Somewhere along the way, I went from just trying to get through each day to actually being excited to live them again. And for that, I’m beyond grateful.
Grateful for a body that keeps showing up for me. Grateful for the chance to travel, compete, and chase something I love. Grateful for every single person I’ve met, every mile shared, and every moment of encouragement, seen and unseen.
There were days I didn’t think I’d make it here. Days where quitting felt easier. But God had other plans. Through Him and through the constant prayers from my mom, my family, and my friends, I found strength I didn’t know I had.
This season didn’t just push me physically, it healed me in ways I didn’t expect. Being surrounded by people who uplift, challenge, and inspire me brought something back that I thought I lost.
To everyone who’s been a part of these last six months in any way, thank you. You helped remind me what it feels like to love life again.

It still blows my mind that the same person who didn’t want to keep going has now pushed through:
30 HYROX races, 2 marathons, 2 half marathons, and two 1,000+ mile bike rides.
I came close to missing all of it.
This one was for my little brother. My day one supporter.
And if this season taught me anything, it’s that I’m not done yet.

Starting 2026 off the best way possible… at #F45CollegeStationTX !!!
I want to thank @kole.boucher @coach.kyle_cpt @feely.sarah @jamiejanczakcook and Coach Daniel for giving of their time, to coach our sessions during this holiday season! It just goes to show what a supportive and transformative gym culture we are blessed with!
Along with that, the New Year will bring a number of new faces trying out gyms, hoping to begin their own transformative journey. This can be an intimidating challenge for many. The best thing we can do as a gym community is to not only be welcoming, but also be supportive and encouraging. No matter our specific goals, health and fitness is a long-term endeavor, full of challenges. But we can be the reinforcing support that keeps those starting their journey in the game!
