Happy Birthday to Japanese superstar Akihiro Nishino. @japanesehandsome what a singular joy to work with you to build Chimney Town for the Broadway stage and for audiences throughout the world. Broadway is better because you are in it.#HappyBirthday #ChimneyTowntheMusical #poupelleofchimneytown

A magical @mexodusmusical reflection to close this NYC chapter.

This one feels especially special because I first got to share this show with my big brother, who not only loved it, but saw what I saw in the power of sharing OUR stories.

Sometimes the affirmation from those closest to us is what fuels the determination to keep going, especially when making new musicals these days can feel especially tough.

So much gratitude to everyone who helped make this NYC chapter possible. And a special thank you to @its_daveed for first introducing me to this work and to this brilliant group of humans. What a gift this journey has been so far ♥️🐐♥️🐐

Today we wrap up the NYC chapter of @mexodusmusical.

Productions like this remind me why I do what I do. My belief in the power of theatre is strong, and my love for new musicals remains unwavering.

Deep thanks to the remarkable company of artists, producers, crew, staff, and believers who brought this show to life. @p3productions.nyc @audibletheater

Next stop: Los Angeles. @pasadenaplayhouse ✨

Honey, I had a BALL at my first Tony Awards 🏆
Thanks to my gracious host and favorite NYC gal @feeroo2 for introducing me to the most incredible champions of theatre in the industry. It was truly a star-studded affair for the ages.

From all the dazzling performances to the exquisite couture, sharing snacks with my seat mates, cheering for all the gifted artists being recognized, moseying over the Rainbow Room for schmoozing and sushi afterwards, then capping off the night at the fabulous Carlyle Party, it was a night to remember 🎉.

The highlights of my night were watching my dear friends @qween_jean and @zhailon make HISTORY, receiving their awards. Yassssssssss CATS @catsjellicleball 🐱. Love you all dearly. And LIBERATION @liberationbway getting its due flowers —- two words: Whitney White @yesimwhitneywhite 💐

But the cherry on top of it all was watching Solea @_solaylay serenade Meg Thee Stallion @theestallion at the piano in Bemelmans, telling Meg about the show and her asking me, “Why all the bad b*tches in this show?!” ‘Cause dats dem CLARKE GALS Hunny 💅🏽💎🤠 @wantedmusical

Thank you Tony’s @thetonyawards for showing me an amazing night. See you next year. Antoinette was my mother’s middle name, after all 😉🙏🏽😘

Loved this production. An intimate, funny, and moving story we’ve never been taught in school. The music is fabulous and these two guys are so terrific together. Don’t miss this if you can. It won’t be running much longer. #mexodusmusical #p3productions #offbroadway

46 hours in NYC went like this… 🗽
Touched down and realized: this is the first time I’ve set foot on New York soil with my show having a Broadway Theatre. 🎭🙏🏽🙌🏽
Took that in and literally ran into a cast member @rilwill26 on 42nd street. 🥰🧡
Next day, arrived at Artist House during sound check for WANTED UNPLUGGED and my face melted from our phenomenal cast belting to the heavens. 🫠 🎵
Had the most AMAZING interview with @kaishacreates 🤗
Hugged the QUEEN @ledisi and pinched myself again that she’s actually in our cast. 👸🏽👑
Soaked in the staggeringly beautiful evening that our knockout producers @p3productions.nyc curated. 😇
Looked @rossbaummusic in the eyes and had THAT moment—this is all really HAPPENING. 🥲
Stepped back into my hotel room after the night was over and fell to my knees, worshipping God for all He’s done to orchestrate this entire journey. 🙌🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
Had breakfast with the best agent @bethblickers in the world, my ride or die for over 11 years. 🤗🥰🤗
Met up with Ross and stood at the entrance of our Broadway Theatre — The James Earl Jones. 🎭🧡🥲
Got back on a plane and flew back home to LA, in enough time to make it to my Hot Barre Class @hot8yoga and integrate the whole experience with a good workout. 💪🏽
Yeah. Only God could do this. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
