25.000 volgers? Dat vier je met een taart. Op je hoofd. Met echte kaarsjes.

Sinds januari groeide @fefaber_ met maar liefst 20.000 volgers op Instagram. Reden voor een feestje! En als prop- en maskerartiest maak je natuurlijk geen gewone taart. Je maakt een renaissancehoofddeksel van materialen waar je gebit en smaakpapillen minder enthousiast van worden. Haar volgers konden er zo tenminste wél van meegenieten.

Fé doet het liefst alles zelf. Maar kaarsjes aansteken én jezelf fotograferen met zo’n kunstwerk op je hoofd bleek toch een uitdaging. Zeker toen het bijna in de fik ging. En met de schrik nog in je ogen wordt zo’n feestelijk portret ook lastig.

Daar kwam ik in beeld.

Eerst lekker stoeien met licht en kleur, zonder dat de kaarsvlammen wegvielen. Daarna aan de slag met de pose. Met de brandblusser bij de hand.

Als je achteraf hoort dat je met jouw beeld het geheel “2 miljoen levels verder” hebt gebracht, verschijnt er toch een grote, dankbare grijns op je gezicht.

Fé maakte de taart. Samen maakten we het beeld. Je hoeft niet alles alleen te doen.

Claws for kevin Hehhe. Inspired by the flesh and blue veins of @fefaber_ & @robertamaimone_ ‘s incubation pod :)

was too lazy to remove kevs regular black polish so I filed and applied gelx over it. It created the coolest black ombre underneath the claws !!!!

Blue veins created using textured blue gel then matted. The Matte shrunk the veins and made it look so coooooool :))))))

Using @tinychaos.studios products:
- matte top coat for isolated chrome
- crystal clear sculpting clay for the chunky bits + bring me the black gel to paint over it and rub chrome in :)
- ultra gloss top coat!
