Today is my girl’s birthday and these are a few reasons I love her. 💕 1. She is kind and loves deeply This picture was taken from a date Toju took me on, not long after we met. She took me to two ice cream dates in one day just because she wanted to make me happy and that act really made me feel special. 2. She looks out for me This picture was taken when Toju got a brand partnership to try out coffee for the first time and she thought I was the perfect friend to go and experience that with. We bonded a lot on this day and it made me love her a little more. 3. She made my fave hers I don’t remember Toju being this obsessed with @anendlessocean as much as she is now. Loved that I successfully influenced her and now she’s a fan! So like our fave says, “it’s your softness, it’s your skin, your fragrance. Talking bout beauty, like did you invent it” 4. She loves ice-cream So that means we can go on endless ice cream dates together without us getting bored. Love that for me. 💕 5. She loves the Lord Love that she has grown so much more in her faith since the first time we met. Also love that she has become more confident in her walk with God. This one really makes me happy 6. She extends love to my friends When Toju knows you’re in my circle, she automatically extends her large heart to you and this always warms my heart. 7. She puts her heart into her work When Toju sets her mind to something, she makes sure she sees it through. At the start of the year, Toju said she was going to take content creation seriously and right now, I can’t be more proud of all the progress she has made since the start of the year. 💕💕💕

On Saturday, we asked young people to look beyond the differences in their experiences and think about the things they have in common - their hopes, ambitions and the kind of future they want to build. And they showed up! We spent the day listening to young people, learning from the experiences of others, asking questions, sharing ideas and making connections. We heard honest reflections from Mr. Ayotunde Ositunga on navigating life and opportunity. We sat around the Mentorship Café and had conversations with people working across different fields. We watched young entrepreneurs take the stage to pitch businesses they are building to solve problems they have identified. Young people connected, asked questions, and shared their ideas. That was our goal and what we wanted this year's International Youth Day to be about. Not just a celebration of young people, but a space for young people to learn, connect, ask questions, explore possibilities and see themselves as people who can shape their own futures. A special thank you to all the amazing young people who spent their Saturday with us, to our keynote speaker and mentors who shared their time and experience, and to everyone who helped us create the space. #MAYEIN #IYD2026 #InternationalYouthDay #YouthDevelopment
