“EACH TIME A WOMAN STANDS UP FOR HERSELF, WITHOUT KNOWING IT POSSIBLY, WITHOUT CLAIMING IT, SHE STANDS UP FOR ALL WOMEN.” - Maya Angelou 🖤

Happy International Women’s Day Ladies! To have a business and platform that actively pours back into women has been such an exciting part to owning a business. Thankfully there is a group of spiritual leaders, friend-or’s [vendors], sisters, and supporters who have consistently poured into Distinctions vision throughout the years. Throughout the years these beautiful ladies, present and some not present, have held us up through our toughest times! Today is about giving them their flowers and telling them thank you! Today you are seen, heard, valued, and adored! Celebrate the women in your life today by telling them what they mean to you!

Happy #Friyay Distinction Family! It's your newly certified wedding planner, Distinction Associate Planner, Felia Daye! Felia just received her newest credentials from @thebridalsocietycertification! "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, & how you can still come out from it." - Maya Angelou
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My favorite color is purple and my favorite Starbucks order is a Grande Cinnamon Dulce Frappuccino with extra cinnamon. What keeps me motivated is when people doubt my abilities. Knowing that I have a personal goal for myself & expecting to not only reach but exceed my own expectations. My favorite thing about Distinction is that we each have our own style and we get to collaborate and combine ideas to execute the best events for our clients. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fun Fact: I can randomly switch up my voice//accent at any given moment and I love spending time with my family!

Start each and every day with a fighting chance to be awesome at any and everything you do. Life can be hard, and we all know that it can knock you down, but you must stand tall and not let it take your chance. Just keep fighting!
