a bittersweet goodbye to 2025💞

while 2025 brought many arguments, tears, stress and drama.. it taught me more than anything. i learned to truly love myself. i chose peace. i became closer with the people that i never knew how much i needed. 2025 did hurt a lot, but i wouldn’t want it any other way. im excited to grow more with all of these wonderful people. time to see what 2026 has in store 🫶🏼

i was hesitant on making this post cause it would mean that i was closing a chapter in my life that i never wanted to end. idk where to even start. marching band has truly been my greatest high school memories and i will never forget them. these people are truly amazing and i hope you guys all continue our legacy. i know the band will do great things without us but this will always be a piece of my heart that is missing. i never expected my senior season to go like this, me being in a boot for the whole time was the toughest thing that i have ever done. it’s not what i wanted for my last season and im hoping i can put this injury behind me in a few months. my last time playing bass clarinet if any of you didn’t know i play the contra bass in concert band. i’ve never regretted switching from regular clarinet to bass. i just love it so much more and i can’t believe that it was my last time playing it. i will miss this sport so much and its going to be so hard next year when i dont come back. i never can use the excuse that “i have marching band” ever again. it will be hard but knowing how we left this year will always make it better. i’ve never been prouder of this team and im so glad we left on a good note. keep going even if it gets hard cause it will be worth it in the end. i love you all with my entire heart.
