I AM BACK! IT'S BEEN A YEAR SINCE MY LAST POST ON THIS ACCOUNT! 🤡
HI, if you don't know me, I am Cat! A freelance illustrator and associate lecturer based in the UK who previously studied hair and media makeup 💅

A lot has changed since my last post, and I would say there have been many positive changes. I believe I am finally in a place where I can post on social media more often! 🌟
Social media became a daunting task for me when my health declined, and yes, I continue to experience chronic pain, but I am learning to live with it and manage it. I don't want it to stop me from enjoying my life! 🩷

Whenever you follow me for a while or if you are new to me, I HOPE YOU stick around! 🎀

Quick study for the fun… Hands dyed red 👀👀

‘Pain and beauty stretched,
Stricken red.
Dyed in passionate hues,
Poised,
Held out
Gripping.’

Hi, I’m Michael D Wellington
The photographer behind The Dark Side Of Fashion.

I graduated with a BA in Fashion Photography in London, but I’ve always been drawn to the alternative, the expression, the unapologetic side of style.

This project is about photographing bands and fans who live and breathe alternative fashion. It’s about identity, confidence and community!

Each person brings 3-4 outfits where they feel their best, the most honest version of themselves!

It’s not just images, it’s about creating a space where people can meet, connect, and feel like they belong.

Welcome to The Dark Side Of Fashion! 🖤🖤

🌫️🔦 “In Silent Hill… no one ever really leaves.” 🔦🌫️
Two incredible cosplayers bringing the haunting world of Silent Hill to life — every foggy step, every shadow behind you 👀💀

#SilentHill #SilentHillCosplay #CosplayPhotography #HorrorGames #SurvivalHorror #FoggyTown #CosplayShoot #CreepyVibes #SilentHillFans #CosplayersOfInstagram Two cosplayers recreate a scene inspired by the Silent Hill video game series. In a dim, foggy corridor with green and blue walls, one cosplayer dressed in a gray sweater and green military-style jacket looks ahead tensely, unaware of another figure behind them. The second cosplayer, with pale skin, blonde hair, and dark makeup, reaches out with a ghostly hand, creating a chilling, horror atmosphere. The scene evokes Silent Hill’s eerie, psychological horror aesthetic. Photo by @yourhandle.
