« Where do words go? » was possible to create due to a great team of animators who volunteered to take part in the project, helping with rough animation, clean up, or painting. @felipekenjigomes did it all: bringing the Rich characters to life, taking care of the film’s crowds, animating some of the Kids and more and more. ✨Swipe to see a making of this Upstairs banquet ✨

Felipe Kenji is a brazilian animator and compositing artist based in Lisbon working on all kinds of projects, from short films to advertising. Always trying to mix hand-drawn and digital animation into something special!

two weeks ago This Feminine Side premiered at the 33rd edition of Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film and I was so excited and nervous I barely remembered to take pictures

the best part was meeting so many talented animators and I left Stuttgart feeling inspired, proud and a little sleep deprived (animators can really party)

the stunning scene at the beginning was animated by @felipekenjigomes

This Feminine Side is not just a documentary, it's a celebration of community and queer femininity, built on the collaboration with creatives in Lisbon's lgbt community.

Through interviews, creative workshops and co-creation we explored playfulness and queer self-expression in art.

Join me at @itfs_festival_stuttgart in 3 weeks for the premiere!
