Pleased to announce that @laurenflax has released her new single ‘Fix Everything’, from her upcoming EP with Liz Wight of @palebluemusic, the ‘Liz & Lauren’ EP, out September 22nd! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Lauren and Liz have come together to knock out a ripper four-track EP that stretches far beyond your usual dance beats. Mixing Lauren's sounds with Liz's wordplay, they’ve crafted an emotional journey that takes a sharp turn from the dancefloor to the contemplative. Their lead single, 'Fix Everything', serves up a powerful spray against issues like the rise of right-wing extremism and climate change. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
This cracking team-up marks their first major collab since a remix project in 2020, amplifying their shared passion for a better world and showing the real punch of the underground dance scene. ⁣⁣

Did you know Liz from Pale Blue is in a Misfits cover band that plays only one show a year on Halloween? Here they are playing Hybrid Moments, the best Misfits song, as well as a few others. This is New Jersey approved. #misfits

@laurenflax has just dropped a beaut of a single ‘I Don't Want To Hurt You’, the second single off her upcoming 'Liz & Lauren’ EP!⁣
⁣
‘I Don't Want To Hurt You' tells the tale of battling inner demons: it's about being vulnerable, having empathy and navigating the messy tangle of human connections. Featuring @palebluemusic Liz Wight, reciting an evocative spoken word over Lauren’s acid house production, this track makes you want to dance— in your feelings.⁣
⁣
“The new single is about the pain of loving someone without being ‘in love’ with them, and the guilt that follows.”, she says. Don’t forget to check out the visualizer at the link in bio.

Been a while with the Pale Blue news. But don’t worry we are still here. For example, our song “I Walk Alone At Night” is in the season 4 premiere of the Netflix show ELITE. We also had a song in a very sexy scene of the tv show “How To Get Away With Murder” last year that I forgot to mention. Shoutout to my bff @violadavis .

Also we have a new ep coming soon for the song DIVE with remixes that we will announce soon. We are trying to figure out pressing plant turnaround times. The DIVE ep will be on vinyl in a very limited pressing, just like INDOOR LIFE (aka: mailorder only, not sold in stores, etc)...

Also with stuff opening up around the USA we are trying to figure out Pale Blue live shows as more places open.

Finally, I am going to be djing my first parties since April 2020... There are a bunch booked and I will let you all know when and where.

Wow, we were also included in the Pitchfork list for “30 Best Electronic Music Releases Of 2020”. Pretty wild. But let me use this opportunity to say we still have copies of this release on vinyl for mail order. This record came out the week of the lockdowns in March, and needless to say, no one really cared about new vinyl releases at the time, and it fell under the radar. We were anticipating the small pressing run of 300 copies to sell out, but The Rona had other plans for us. Purchasing this record does not only support us, but it supports the employees at Omnian (our label family head), our distributors at K7 and Secretly Canadian, the small DIY press companies who work these records, and it supports all the small record stores who operate on a shoestring budget for the love of the music. There is barely any profit on vinyl. Every record sold can make a difference. As we prepare to go back into another inevitable lockdown, I urge you to support these record shops and buy stuff. There may not be as many labels and record stores left on the other side of this pandemic. If you don’t want to buy a Pale Blue record, buy another underground release. Support the underground, because no one else will. Thanks 💙 ORDER LINK IN BIO
