Now Pt.2. These photos aren’t professional nor good but they show the people and moments I care about. To those I didn’t photograph, I miss you and love you.

Pich presenting max in his Khmer kroma kilt in our new house.

Christmas with South Africans, French, Khmer, Brazilian, British, Canine and Feline. All whom which I love and miss dearly.

The new Lola.

The 22 club and us oldies.

A shocked fish.

“A proud sister at her brothers wedding”

Batman’s Birthday.

You all better tell Andy his prescription scuba goggles look really cool. Ok?

Genuine peace on earth.

Mr Crabs boiled and cooked in a delicious peanut chilli sauce.

Me. The only time I was in a closed vehicle the whole year. Obviously it got to my head a bit.

Marvin. 42. You get it.

Welcome to Nuths restaurant. Sitting to his right is his father and uncle. Then to his left his sisters and brother. A cute family reunion.

The final goodbyes pt 1.

I had a poster for my silly singing in town. Pretty cool. :)

The final goodbye pt2. Goodbye.

I came to my drum class with @feloglez yesterday completely drained.

But my hyper responsibility didn’t let me cancel my weekly class at the last moment. And honestly, I thought it might actually help me switch my attention from the endless worries and feeling like I’m constantly knocking on concrete walls.

And eventually… it did.

We worked on another challenging exercise, combining different rhythms and breaks. For more than an hour, I was completely focused on the learning process. Everything was going well.

Then it was time to record the result.

And I heard myself saying, very unconfidently:
“I’m not sure if I can do it…”

This moment was recorded too.

And I immediately knew: with this mindset, I probably wouldn’t.
So I had to cancel that thought and replace it with:

“I CAN DO IT!!!”

Even though I wasn't 100% sure. It was a completely new exercise.

Interesting fact that earlier, Facebook reminded me of something.
Three years ago, I went to my first International Afro - Latin Festival as an artist to perform in India!!!

Alone.
No team. No partner. No supporters.

And that’s what I’ve been doing for the past three years — traveling, teaching and performing solo.

I know what it feels like to stand backstage, completely alone, before stepping onto an international stage.

And in that moment, there is only one person who can help you get into the right mindset:

YOU.

Because without inner strength and belief in yourself, it’s impossible to perform at your best. You only get one moment.

And you can't miss it because you were too busy doubting yourself...

That video take reminded me of how many things I’ve already done alone. How many difficult moments I’ve already gone through.

So whatever is happening in my life right now…
It’s just another episode.

And sooner or later, this one will pass too.

What I need to remember is:
Don’t lose your light.
Don’t lose your confidence.

And most importantly — don’t stop believing in yourself and skills.

Starting to learn drums from scratch in my 30s might have sounded like a crazy idea, but I was ready to dive into it because of my love for Latin music and my desire to deepen my musicality as a dancer.

There are moments when I feel frustrated, lost, or incapable. But then there are moments like this one—simply enjoying playing along to "Ella" by Venezuelan band @oficialguaco 🇻🇪

After a few classes and hours of self-practice, this funk rhythm finally clicked, and that feeling was worth every challenge along the way. 🥳

A special gracias to @feloglez for his patience and guidance 🙌🏻

Learning something new is rarely a straight path. Progress often hides behind mistakes, repetition, and moments when it feels like nothing is working...

Keep showing up and trust the process.
What feels difficult today may become natural tomorrow. ✨

This is well overdue. However, honestly the experiences had over this last year have been unbelievable. I never thought this would be something I could have accomplished in my life but it wouldn’t have been possible without some of the amazing people and musicians I worked with. I suggest you all check them out and give them the appreciation they all massively deserve. Thank you to everyone who facilitated this to happen and showed me your amazing talents. Enjoy the cool music. :)
