The Hungarian-born, Groningen-based Femboy Slim blends underground pop music, downtempo, ambient techno, and bass in their sets. With heavy 90s influences, they take the listeners on a dreamy journey of synthesizers, drum machines, and sensual vocals, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and innovative. FBS is a regular at Relate Radio, and co-organized BUTTS, the queer club night at OOST.

Epiphany Records and fruit salad cross-pollinate in their shared love of ambient and experimental electronic music. On the 30th of August, scent / taste / touch / sight / sound come together in a multisensory end-of-summer reunion to share festival and holiday stories, filled with FLINTA* joy.

Join us early in the evening for a nourishing plant-based three-course meal prepared by Calle’s Kitchen (dinner tickets sold separately for €25,-). To lead us into the night, Alina performs a gong-fu tea ceremony, providing an invigorating pick-me-up before we listen to both live and DJ sets by up and coming FLINTA* artists Annebel, baby ganoush, TTTIÊN, femboy slim, and Masha Wordpress & Lena Rigel.

Lineup:
Annabel (live)
Baby ganoush
TTTIÊN
femboy slim
Masha Wordpress & Lena Rigel (live)

Solstice ҉ January 16

It’s been beautiful, all the snow. But we are cold. Are you too?

We invite you to @metro__c, our shared space of heat, light, aliveness, but also tenderness, ache, and yearning. A temporary sun held between bodies that reminds us how it felt, fully.

𖤓 ｡𖦹°‧ ⋆☀︎.
What to expect?
For one night, various artists come together to evoke warmth where it seems most absent, through poetry, sound, light, music, photography, and more.
We will open the doors for everyone to enjoy drinks and a visual art exhibition. Then, we will focus on the main stage, where performers and musicians will guide us through all the axes of emotions that have been there this summer.
Afterwards, we will dance. Together, to some hot tunes by our DJs.

What else?
Support Ukraine!🇺🇦 Get a beautiful postcard with a photo by @vasylyevan. Get some surprise art pieces from @matvc.lx.
All proceeds will go to @united24.media’s Merry Kidsmas fundraiser.
Get a publication by @_jemighty_ with all the poems of the night.
Get a poster designed by the lovely @rivqad.amazone.

VJ’ing for ambient events feels like I’m chilling in the studio. Thanks @fruit__salad___ for inviting me to do visuals, I really enjoyed it and I’m really happy how everything turned out.

I wanted to share these again because I made and ran everything through @touchdesigner and I’m kind of proud of that. Super intimidating software at first but really fun to get lost in.

Shoutout to @videoband_video for quick tips!

Audio from my hard drive full of Ableton exports 🙃

📍 Luxor Live, Bovenzaal, Arnhem
🕛 23:00 – 04:00
🎟️ Tickets €10 via link in bio or luxorlive.nl

words by the one and only @coco_coquelic

DJ tonic
