Growing and learning.
My desires these days are so simple. More of God and less of me. Same with marriage. We are learning how we really want to be in sync with each other, more than correcting the other person. It's so beautiful to nearly reach the point where you can telepath. Marriage truly is deep. So deep and spiritual.
And so, after a while, settling scores and arguments become minimal, because sharing God, our bed 😏, and our hearts, being in sync and in love gives more depth that you feel deep in your belly, than being petty ever could. Well, being married to femi, your pettiness will be for your pocket. The man can be happy! It's annoying. So fume away, baba dey play guitar dey sing dey go. Las las, you go dey alright.

I want to know what femi wants just by looking at him. From the way he tilts his head to the way he hunches his back, or how his mouth is posed. And I'm getting there. He is getting there with me too. It's beautifully humbling.
Our relationship with each other is a mirror of our sweet relationship with God. Desiring the heart of God, wanting to know what He wants, what's on His mind. And as God is teaching us, drawing us in, we are unconsciously pulling towards each other. Becoming one like never before. Literally two becoming one. Especially being one in God. Forming this one chord made of three. Reminds me of the trinity. Come on now! What other mirror do you need?

Speaking of mirrors, Papa taught me something about them this morning. Tell you about it later.

You have ALL my love! 💛 📷 @nsifioke

Marriage is one of the most humbling, sanctifying journeys you will ever be a part of. It forces us to wrestle with our selfishness and pride. But it also gives us a platform to display love and commitment. - Francis Chan 📸 @nsifioke
