In 2016 something called Blonde Media was created. I was living in Santa Barbara, studying film and doing small social media videos for tiny businesses on State St. When the 2nd semester was finished, I was going home for the summer holiday. I called up my old childhood friend and former class mate @danielmanicus immediately. He was already in business and brought me to shoot a concert for @mortenofficial in tivoli. Same week, we called @jacqalen to create a logo and a website to showcase our previous work. Yet, we didn’t even have a name or any idea of what it meant to start a company… All we knew was that we wanted to make cool shit without going back to a 9-5 job. And when we saw that logo for the first time, it was game over… It had to get printed everywhere, even though we had no money to get started. So then we started selling merchandise 1 by 1. Print 1, sell 1. Hoodie by hoodie. And oh boy, we made a lot of merch … Because why not? What started as something I can’t even call a business, charging 500$ per video in cash, later became a multi million dollar global business, servicing clients (and selling merch) worldwide. The 2nd picture was shot by mom, in the moment Daniel and I signed the company papers to what was gonna become Blonde Media, and later @blonde___inc ! Today, soon to be 10 years later, we are still standing. #2016 was a good year. #blondemedia #forthenewgeneration #1738

I curated a little creative project to share as recommendations that I have for you all! I have put together three docs, three shorts and three books that I felt are either quintessential for the intro to Heavy Metal, or just centered around the theme and love for the genre. If you know me you know I love sharing playlists, and movie recommendations so I thought this would be a fun way to share. Also- I DO NOT OWN the rights to any of these films, this is purely educational and for the purpose of sharing. I have tagged/and or cited all the proper channels! :)⛓️‍💥 #metalheadbangersjourney #mattdunn #heavymetal #music #asmr #asmrmusic #recommended #blackmetal #norwegian #documentary #musicdoc #ozzyosbournefans #penelopespheeris
