💛 Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day❤️

Today, we honor Indigenous peoples, their histories, cultures, resilience, and continued contributions to our communities.

At Bumble Bee Yoga Community, today also gives us an opportunity to recognize our founder, Dr. Lori Williamson, and her Native American heritage.

The heart of BBYC has always been rooted in the belief that wellness should be accessible to everyone. Through yoga, community connection, and a commitment to mental health, her vision continues to create space for people to feel welcomed, supported, and seen.

Today, we celebrate the person behind that vision while recognizing that Indigenous stories, voices, and communities deserve to be honored beyond a single day.

May we continue to lead with respect, listen with intention, and create communities where everyone belongs. 💛🐝

No TCU 🏈 game this Saturday?
Fort Worth still has plenty going on. 🐸💜
Here’s how I’m spending TCU’s bye weekend:

🎄 Christmas in Cowtown. Getting a head start on holiday shopping at the Junior League’s gift market, all for a great cause. @christmasincowtown @jrleagueftworth

🎸 Houndmouth at Tannahill’s. Saturday night in Mule Alley. You’ll find me there! @houndmouth @tannahillsmusichall

🏈 Watching my stressful Aggie team play against Mizzou @rexsftw

🌸 Blooms & Beats at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Live music and fall weather in one of my favorite spots in the city. @fortworthbotanicgarden

🧘‍♀️ Yoga with @fenomlaw at @bumblebeeyogacommunity Sunday morning. It’s the
perfect way to reset before the week ahead.

Enjoy the weekend, Fort Worth. We’ll be back to game-day traffic soon! 💜🚦

🐝 Every Monday counts for Bumble Bee Yoga Community! 🧘‍♀️✨

Did you know that donating to us on a Monday leading up to #NTXGivingDay gives us a shot at an extra $1,000 bonus grant?

North Texas Giving Day is on Thursday, September 17th, but you don’t have to wait until then to support free and accessible yoga in our community. Any donation made on a Monday between now and September 17th automatically enters BBYC into a weekly drawing to win crucial grant funding from @communitiesfoundationoftexas

That means your $10 gift on a Monday could turn into $1,010 for our programs!

Here is how you can help:
1️⃣ Click the link in our bio to visit our North Texas Giving Day page.
2️⃣ Make your donation today (or any Monday through 9/17!).
3️⃣ Share this post to help us spread the buzz!

Let’s power our community together. Thank you for supporting our mission to keep yoga inclusive, welcoming, and accessible for everyone. 💛🖤

Small gifts make a MASSIVE impact 💛

Day 1 of @northtexasgivingday is officially here! Every single donation to BBYC helps fuel our outreach in local schools, hospitals, and mental health facilities. Your support directly powers our accessible in-studio classes, competitive pay for our trauma-informed teachers and staff, membership scholarships, and daily studio supplies. Most importantly, it helps us further our mission to share yoga and mindfulness tools— and save lives by helping eliminate suicide.

🐝 Here is how your gift goes even further today:
• FOUNDER MATCH: Every dollar you give is matched dollar-for-dollar up to $30,000!
• BONUS $1,000 GRANT: Donating today enters us into a drawing to win an extra $1,000 grant from @communitiesfoundationoftexas

Whether it’s $5 or $50, a little truly goes a long way.

🙏🏼 Give now through September 17th via the link in our bio!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Dr. Lori Atkins for being recognized as a Physician of Excellence by Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center — an honor made even more meaningful because it was nominated by one of her patients. 💙

The heartfelt nomination shared a powerful story of courage, compassion, and exceptional care during one of the most difficult moments a family could face. From stepping in during a critical pregnancy complication at just 19 weeks, to providing calm, confident support through delivery, Dr. Atkins made an unforgettable impact on this patient’s life and family.

“She saved my son’s life.”

Those words speak volumes about the kind of physician Dr. Atkins is every single day — skilled, compassionate, fearless, and deeply committed to her patients.

Dr. Atkins, thank you for the countless lives you touch through your dedication, strength, and heart. We are so grateful to have you as part of the Fenom family and could not think of anyone more deserving of this recognition. ✨

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Atkins on this incredible honor! 🤍

Still not over how amazing Spring Gallery Night was 💛 Huge thank you to @bumblebeeyogacommunity for letting me help curate a youth art show!! I sold 32 pieces 🤯🤯 and getting to actually talk with buyers and share my work in person was the coolest experience ever. Events like this aren’t just about art, they help young artists learn how to speak up, connect, and put ourselves out there.

Being surrounded by so many insanely talented artists in such a supportive space felt unreal. So grateful to the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association @ftworthartdealers for creating opportunities like this for youth artists 🫶 I’ll post all the originals that sold soon, but for now I’m just really thankful… and already counting down to next year 💫 (Also HUGE shoutout to @carolinehayes240 and her band The Rockadays for an INCREDIBLE performance by talented youth musicians and singers.)
