A lot of my brides come into their trial appointments obviously focusing on just the hair, but thinking they want something more voluminous and elaborate… After working through the styles or going back to trial photos, they find that what they actually feel most comfortable with is something a little bit more simple. And a common question is always, “Is this too simple to be my wedding day hair?!” At first glance, you might think this just looks like a simple slick back bun, but up close there are differences. AND you have to think of your wedding day hairstyle with the whole picture. You’re going to have a beautiful gown and veil on during the ceremony, you’re going to be photographed from every angle + add in all of those emotions throughout every special part of the day… Suddenly that “simple” hairstyle doesn’t feel so simple.
