Made the Newcomer J&J FINALS at @myswingopen 2025 as a Lead - thank you @fera.fei for taking on this round with me!

This is one for the journal as Lead is my secondary role, and am learning so much as actually go out there and do it.

There’s so many tools I want to learn (or reverse engineer), especially to structure the dance better, do some more interesting patterns, respond to the Follower, do micro musicality - know what a Follower probably would enjoy.

But for now, am just happy to stay dancing on time, prioritizing smoothness of connection and movement and making it comfortable for the Follow to dance too!

Many thanks to all the Follows that I drew in semis and prelims (don’t have everyone on IG but for those I do…)
@felixgoesanywhr - epic role switching and humor 👯
@fongaliyah - really enjoyed dancing with you and seeing your smile 😄
@stephylyng91 - awesome to meet an ex ballroom / Latin dancer too and welcome to the world of WCS! Hope you find new breath and enjoyment in this style ^^

Wayne.dance will return 🤝
