QOTD: What drink would you choose to describe yourself? 🍷🍵☕️🍹 A little appreciation for One dark window & its aesthetic because I’m still obsessing over it ❤️‍🔥 Espresso martini book tag ☕️🧸🍸 🤎 Vodka: a book with a powerful plot twist. Crown of Midnight by SJM has some crazy plot twists I still think about daily. 🤎 Coffee liqueur: a book with rich world building. •Firelight by Sophie Jordan. Honestly the whole trilogy is a 10/10. The world is quite different & intriguing but not as big as fantasy books are recently. If you’re into dragons, this one’s for you! •The Scorch trials. We need to bring back the maze runner books, they’re some of the best dystopian books I’ve read. 🤎 Freshly brewed espresso: a book that kept you up all night. •Ignite me by Tahereh Mafi. I couldn’t stop reading, it was so fun and addicting. Warner & Kenji deserve all the love. •One dark window by Rachel Gillig. It had been a while since I last read a book with such a unique magic system & stakes as high as this one. 🤎 Simple syrup: a sugary-sweet romance book. I don’t really read sugary sweet romances haha but maybe Better than the movies. 🤎 Three coffee beans: three authors you are obsessed with. •John Green. I’ll literally read anything he writes. Obsessed with his voice & the way he communicates with his writing. •V.E. Schwab. She’s so creative, outspoken & her stories are so different & imaginative. She’s a huge inspiration, I want to be friends with her. •Suzanne Collins. IYKYK. Her books are always there at the right time and they hit like no others. Saw @haileesbooks doing this tag a while ago & thought it was never too late to share mine as well ☺️ Tagged a couple friends but no pressure to join ✨ *All the pictures in the collages I found on pinterest* • #gothicfantasy#romancebooks#fantasybooks#bookrecs#bookstagram

Spring fever tag 🌷🫧☔️ Saw @ajourneyofbooks doing this and thought I’d join in too ✨ 🌷 First bloom: a book that feels like the beginning of something new -Divine rivals by Rebecca Ross. That book has my heart. 🪷 Pastel cover pick: the prettiest pastel-covered book on your shelf -The UK editions of the Emily Wilde trilogy are some of the prettiest pastel-cover books in my shelves. 🍃Spring cleaning: a book you want to unhaul or dnf. -Thinking of unhauling Fallen by Lauren Kate. And dnf Heartless by Marissa Meyer but because it’s taken me so long to pick it up again after shelving it for a while (will finish it for book club tho) 🌱New beginnings: a new read you loved -One dark window. I’m obsessed with the Shepherds King duology, been dragging finishing it bc I don’t want it to end. 🌺 Love is in the air: your fav romance read -I really liked Betting on you by Lynn Painter & Unsteady by Peyton Corinne.
👒 Picnic read: a light, feel-good book you’d take to the park -Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery without a doubt.
🪴Garden of growth: a character who had amazing development -Ione Hawthorne from One dark window but specifically in the second book Two twisted crowns. Haven’t finished it yet but so far that girl survived some intense stuff and live to tell the tale. 🌻 Fesh start: a book you’re excited to read this spring -A tempest of tea by Hafsah Faizal or Restore me by Tahereh Mafi. Expectations book tag ☕️📚 QOTD: Do we have any in common? 🫢 Saw @whatameliareads doing this and I wanted to join the tag too ✨ Sometimes there’s so much pressure to like popular books and it feels wrong when you don’t like them as much as everyone else did or vice versa and you love a book that people didn’t like, but at the end of the day not every book is for everyone so take this as a reminder to read what you want and love it openly, DNF what’s not for you and be honest about what you think even if it’s not the popular opinion 😉 Tagged a few friends to join but no pressure, and if you see this and want to do it too consider yourself tagged! • #romantasy#gothicfantasy#bookstagram#divinerivals#sportsromance
