POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Decent last weekend in the town of my great childhood -Weston-super-Mare - with my old mate Matt to watch Tanto grappling event. There to support @fergus_wb with Coach Conor in his corner. Decent event - entertaining matches , didn’t stick around for the main event but would do again.

First week for TTP in the books.

Across the week, we had 5, 6, 7 & 5 class attendance constituting 12 different attendees.

To cap it off, we had 19 people on the mat for our Launch Party, plus 5-6 watching from the sides.

It’s strange to think that 5 months ago I was sitting in a cafe in Thailand with @milesevansmma @roamingrolls @tara_thornton_ saying that I’d always wanted to open a gym. It was their encouragement along with @benroyle145 that started this journey.

When we landed in the UK we had 4 months to open. I quickly realised that alongside being a good coach you have to be a good entrepreneur, marketer, sales person, website designer, social media strategist, people manager… and so much more.

Then I realised how lucky I am to have good friends in the UK to encourage me. The constant chats and ideating with @adambrownbjj @zachsmart. Random messages of encouragement from people I haven’t seen in 15 years.

And of course none of this would be possible without @katyheppolette, who encourages me everyday, came along to take photos/ videos of trial week and kept telling me off for applying to recruiter jobs 😂

And to the faithful founders who have attended these sessions. Look forward to building TTP together. I promise to give everything I have to be the best possible coach I can be.

From where I was 12 months ago…. Psalm 40.

God is good. All the time.

MATCHUP ANNOUNCEMENT

Two young blue belts are set to go head-to-head at Quantum Invitational 2.

@leonvbjj_ has already stepped onto the Quantum mats and will be making his return for another shot at putting on a performance.

Standing across from him is @fergus_wb, another young blue belt with a strong submission game and plenty of ambition to make his mark at Quantum.

An exciting all-blue-belt matchup between two young athletes looking to show what they can do.
