Beautiful pieces, artisan coffee, seasonal ice cream and a balloon stall full of wonder. On Saturday 14th November, Endless Love Creative returns to Showroom Work Station in Sheffield to host there annual winter makers market, bringing together a curation of 65 independent makers from across the UK to celebrate craftsmanship and design, with lots of festive gift inspiration. We want it to be the best kind of Saturday, one worth coming out in the rain for, to tell all your friends about and to make a day of. Where you can hang out, mooch, chat away and feel excited about discovering new collections and meeting artists. It’s a big thank you for last week, our autumn market photo’s just landed and @natalierosewilde has captured the day so beautifully. We lucked out with gorgeous blue skies, and I’m so grateful to everyone who joined us, thank you to the wonderful makers who filled Showroom with so much beauty, colour and incredible design and to our visitors who brought the most gorgeous atmosphere and warmth to the day, it was just an absolute delight . Thank you to everyone who told a friend, brought a family member, including all the cute dogs Big thankyou’s to the team, to @showroom_cinema @work_station_s1 @acidhousecoffee , @fennells.co and @_gulligull_ , making the day extra magic and delicious. Last night was the Private View of The Hope Collection at @shopfodder in Hampstead and it was so lovely. Seeing all the beautiful pieces in real life was wonderful and they all sit together so beautifully as a collection. It was also great to meet a lot of the makers - such a talented bunch. I collaborated with Fodder to bring about this exhibition but I do want to say that I should take no credit. Luci from Fodder has made this happen - she is so supportive of independent craft, particularly ceramics. We need more people like her! If you are anywhere near Hampstead in the next week, please go and see the exhibition, it’s on until the 13th. It was great to see the red dots increasing last night so you might have to be quick if you want to make a purchase! 💙 Also don’t forget the fabulous bags illustrated by Emma Cantley - *the* bag to be seen with. 💙

Next in our Hope Collection makers, Fern Taylor and her "Hope Plates". A pair of nerikomi plates that explore hope through the symbols of nature. One features a forget-me-not, the small wildflower often found growing amongst weeds and in unexpected places. As Fern puts it, its ability to flourish wherever it can reflects the quiet persistence and resilience of nature. The second carries a dove, a universal symbol for peace and hope. Both plates are made entirely from reclaimed clay, in stoneware with stains and a transparent glaze. Nerikomi is a painstaking technique of layering coloured clay so the pattern runs all the way through and no two are ever quite the same.
