Belated birthday trip, 32 spins around the sun and country 30 for both of us! And what a trip it was, the best of company, the place, the food, the views, the colors and spices. Morocco 🇲🇦 is beautiful and definitely want to go back again! Thank you to my best friend for brining me there and for the 1001 Arabian nights feeling on our nights out and to finish it off then we had Hammam, wow what a experience 🤩 like 800 photos and these are some of my favourites, to the next adventure with you ❤️

Something about this encounter didn’t feel real. An Omura’s whale and her calf not just passing through, but feeding calmly right beside Coralia, staying with us far longer than you ever expect from a species this elusive.
Halmahera delivered something truly out of the ordinary, one of those rare moments where time slows down and you realize you’re witnessing behavior few people ever get to see.

Encounters like this don’t just happen regularly, this was special!

Hope you like it and let me know in the comments below!

🇬🇧 Some dreams stay with you for years… and this one finally came true!

Seeing blue and yellow macaws in the wild has always been a dream of mine, and thanks to my partner in life, I got to experience it for real. Loud, chaotic, full of life and absolutely unforgettable.

I was so happy to see them for the first time, despite all the noise they made, but I loved every second of it. Moments like this remind me why I keep chasing the wild.

Brazil, I’ll be back!! 🇧🇷

Brasil, eu volto!! 🇧🇷

And not to mention anything about the nature, after being in Indonesia for almost 11 years, I can just say wow!! From the hummingbirds to the macaws to the toucans to so much more!

Will share more nature photos on my new page @_eyeofnature_birds that will be more dedicated to nature above the water and keep @_eyeofnature_ for underwater.

A true trip of a lifetime that I will never forget and still SO MUCH TO SEE!! I can go on and on but after two months and still having the feeling I can’t wait to come back, that just means I loved every second of it!

BRASIL, EU TE AMO, VOCE E MUITO LINDO E MARAVILHOSA! And best of all, it gave me my beautiful Fernanda, you are a dream come true! Thank you for taking care of me and loving me despite my many flaws, I love you most of all and a life with you is all I want❤️

Sorry but not sorry, rambling incoming, to much to share over one post so will be two!

Wow what a trip, almost 2 months in Brasil.
Thank you to the one and only @fernandamonteiro for bringing me here and showing me all the Brasil have to offer, from the food, to the beach, to the mountains and forests, to stunning sunrises and sunsets, family time and adventure time, birds and monkeys and snakes and all inbetween. Easy to say I am hooked and I can’t want to come back, you haven’t seen the last of me Brasil! Te amo!! I can see myself living here one day!

I didn’t know what to expect, such a enormous country with so much to offer, you can say that I definitely got the true Brazilian experience, one of my favourites was definitely seeing the wildlife but as well seeing beautiful Rio de Janeiro and to experience carnaval!! That is an experience I will never forget, the music, the dancing, the people, the happiness and the flow of emotions that this true fest of colors gives you! I was amazed!

From having a fejuada, to chuasca, to tapioca, Brasils food is just amazing, cooked with love especially when coming from family! I was very proud of myself how much Portuguese I managed to learn and I loved speaking ( or at least trying to make myself understood and hoping Fernanda would come and clear my question marks)

More in the next post😉

“In August of 2024 I took a trip to Indonesia with my wife and 2 young children ages 12 and 9. The itinerary had multiple “bucket list” experiences. But because of the people involved I received way more than expected.
Swimming with whale sharks, snorkeling the Coral Triangle, diving at the base of an active volcano and seeing Komodo dragons in the wild were the experiences I had signed my family up for. I was prepared to make sacrifices so my children and wife would have a safe and memorable trip. To my surprise the only sacrifice was enduring the long flights to and from our destination.
Matthias and Fernanda were simply amazing. They transformed what I had expected would be an expedition into an unforgettable vacation. To us they fit into the family just like another set of parents. And with our kids they bonded like siblings. My wife and I were able to snorkel, hike and dive without any concern for our children’s safety and at times their exact whereabouts!
From the moment we exited the airport in Labuan Bajo we were met by a smiling and enthusiastic Fernanda. Despite her high energy she imparted a calming confidence on my tired children who had just endured 24 hours of flying to the other side other world. My youngest was especially cautiously optimistic of Fernanda. My older daughter was instantly thrilled to meet her. By the end of the trip she (we) had made a lifelong friend.
Fernanda was by my 9 year olds side for every snorkel. Pointing out fish and other unique sea-life. She cared for her with patience and joy. On the boat they read books about the fish they had seen, colored and charted our progress. They also played card games between dive sites or at night.
Whether on the boat, on land or in the water Fernanda had a wonderful way of being there whenever needed but also disappearing during intimate family moments. Her ability to come and go was magical. If you mixed Marry Poppins, Jane Goodall and Moana into one person you’d have someone similar to Fernanda.

Not all trips are the same. Some you forget. Others stay with you forever.

There’s a difference between just going somewhere and truly experiencing it, connecting with nature, exploring without crowds, and feeling the ocean in a way most never do.

Our liveaboard expeditions are for everyone, divers and non-divers, solo travelers, couples, families with kids.

Whether you’re swimming with manta rays, exploring hidden islands, or simply watching the sunset from the deck, every moment is about slowing down and experiencing the wild, your way.

Ready for an adventure you’ll never forget? Send us a message now and we can make your dream trip come true!
