9 weeks of progress in 42 seconds.

I fractured my talus, calcaneus and damaged my sub-talar joint while rock climbing late August. Since then I've been navigating the balancing act of bone healing, minimizing ankle stiffness and my mental state the best I can. It's had its highs and lows, constantly asking myself if "it's too much", living in a state of either patience or fear and taking each day where I'm at, one at a time. So, as the daylight shortens into winter my foot is slowly coming back to life (hopefully in time to slip into a ski boot 😏). Far from running, or even thinking about it I'm very thankful and happy with all the progress so far. Actually beginning to get excited for the journey ahead!

Many thanks to @ferniephysio for all the great help and support!

MIUT 2026

I have nothing too prolific to report from this one, just very grateful to enjoy another crossing of the beautiful Madeira Island. Getting to fight with some burly competition up and down the slippery stairs, along the exposed ridges, seaside cliffs and cruisy jungle trails. Such a treat! Although I may be a little disappointed to not pull the win, I came out with a race to be proud of and some weaknesses to buff out.

Hungry for what's to come.

The Fast and the Furious: IFSA Challengers

3 comps in 6 days. It was intense.

My goal was to win the challengers. I finished just short of that in second overall, and it’s okay because it was never about the outcome but rather the process.

I’m happy with how I rode given the variable conditions. My knee is feeling super solid, but I wasn’t that motivated to huck my meat into bad snow and I rode to my strengths. I could have ridden more strategically to get points, but I tried to keep my comp runs true to my riding style. (Slide 2 scored 2nd last, but was the run I enjoyed the most 😇)

Mentally it was a lot harder to return to competitions than the expected, but I’m glad I did. The women’s field is charging right now, and filled with some incredible ladies ❤️

We’ve been asking it for years, and the ladies are proving IT’S TIME we see 2 women per region go to the FWT.

First Snowboarder to infiltrate The Wall.

Honoured to have my sporting achievements recognized on the Fernie Ski Heritage Hall of Fame. Proud to be on the wall amongst an incredible group of people that make @ferniealpineresort so special.

Back in a Bib tomorrow.

Been feeling big emotions about it. Mainly, I’m fricken PROUD of the work I’ve put in over the last 2 years, it’s been a journey. Huge thanks to @switchbackstrength, @ferniephysio, @fernieathletictherapy and @evolution.fernie for all the support getting me back here ❤️

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want to share, as I’ve found this era of my life in competitive sport really hard to navigate mentally.

I’m grateful for the series wildcard from @ifsafreeriders but it’s definitely bittersweet to be competing for a spot on the @freerideworldtour instead of competing for the FWT title this season.

Women’s Freeride is so sick right now, and I truly believe I have what it takes to be in the mix at the top.

I don’t think the current FWT injury policy is fair to athletes, and I think it needs to change. I’d love to see a performance based injury policy, rather than the current media based policy.

I’m not sure what my future in Freeride holds, but for now I intend to enjoy the ride 🤙

Old dawg new trick.

Leaving #duskofTHEVILLAGE fired up for the end of the season. Historically not a steel boarder, I wasn’t sure how I would fit in at this event. Right away I met some incredible people and connecting at @_were_all_mental made me realize we all fit in here.
On day 1 I didn’t even consider riding this rail as I’ve never hit one this big, and by day 3 with support and tips from homies I was.

The people, the build, the community 👌. Thankful to have been here. Full of gratitude.
