Get ready for Swedish Cinnamon Bun Day 🇸🇪☕️

We’ve updated the Swedes in the States’ Big Guide to Scandinavian Bakeries in the U.S., featuring 40+ bakeries, cafés and Nordic spots around the country.

This Week’s Bakery is Ferrane, a Swedish bakery from the founder of BonBon! I guess after mastering cardamom and cinnamon buns the Ferrane team decided to master laminated pastries too because this croissant is elevated above your typical pain au chocolat! #treatday #bakedgoods #pastries #brooklynfood #brooklynheights

Can you guess next week’s NYC bakery? Their story is one of my favorites but they’re still criminally underrated. It’s one of the best Swedish bakeries in the city but its name is Moroccan - inspired by one of the founders’ heritage. He and his ethnically-Eritrean cofounder sought out a world champion young baker, elevated her to master-baker and created something magical. 🥐 Next Week’s Bakery is Ferrane 🥐 We know you’ll enjoy!
