💞💞💞 Thank you to everyone who showed up today for such a great cause. Today we dedicate our breast cancer awareness event to all those who have sadly left us from this disease, to those who are fighting this disease, and of course to everyone who has either lost or knows someone with this disease.

Personally, I feel so lucky to be a part of our Life Time Fitness community. It was through this community that encouraged me to get my first mammogram completed this past summer. And after many consultations, tests and a surgery, I was told the day after my 46th birthday that the doctor had found and removed cancer from my breast. Truthfully, as I take a long breath, the news still hasn’t settled in. I’ve been placed on a plan and have trust and faith in my doctors. I’m one of the lucky ones where they caught it early enough. I have always felt very fortunate over these past 46 years and grateful for all those who have come into my life. I am keeping my spirits as high as I can, and I will be forever eternally grateful to all my friends and family who have supported me during this time. I can’t thank you all enough. 🩷🙏🩷

If you are over 40 most doctors will prescribe a mammogram if you ask. Please get tested and encourage others to get tested too. 🙏🙏

We’re thankful for this beautiful community we’re building.

For the connections we’re making.

For the conversations that bring us together.

For the friendships we’re forming.

For showing up for ourselves and each other.

For the moments, big and small.

For finding our people.

For the space we’re creating together.

For every woman who’s part of this journey.

And for everything still to come.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🤎

With love and gratitude,
MENO-POSE

Apparently this is what we’re reading these days… menus, macros, protein, ingredients… and occasionally an actual book. 😂

Being a little more aware of what we’re putting into our bodies is always a good read.

CALLING WOMEN OVER 40! 💃🏼🔥

Just basically ALL women esply in this "fab" 40 zone!😍

Married/unmarried.
Having kids/not having kids.
Working/not working.
Exercising/not exercising.
Dieting/not dieting.
All All Allllll women !

While we’re busy navigating our weight, moods, hormones, energy and everything in between… 😶‍🌫️

There’s still ONE question everyone wants answered:

“How well does she LOOK… at HER age?” 🙄

Because apparently…

If we gain weight → we’re lazy.
If we lose weight → we’re trying too hard.
If we work out → obsessed.
If we don’t → we’ve let ourselves go.

So… can we just STOP? 😌

At 46, I’m not chasing a “perfect” body.

I’m choosing a FIT body.
A STRONG body.
A body that lets me live my life.💪🏼

And yes, I struggled with workouts.
I pushed too hard.
I got tired.
And eventually I realised…

I don't have to punish my body to prove I care about it. ❤️

So I slowed down.

I stopped treating exercise like punishment.
I stopped judging myself for the days I couldn't do more.
And I started celebrating the little things I COULD do.

Because consistency doesn't have to look extreme.

Some days it's a workout.
Some days it's a walk.

I choose to embrace myself AS I am. 🫂
Whatever my size or shape…👌

No unrealistic expectations.
No comparison.
No self-criticism.

Just STRENGTH, HEALTH, confidence and a whole lot of self-love. ❤️‍🔥

And now…

If you'll excuse me, I have some hard-earned muscles to flex. 😎💪🏼💪🏼

I am a Woman over 40+ not trying to look younger but definitely feeling stronger.

👇🏼 Comment “STRONG” if you're with me.
❤️ Follow if you're choosing YOU after 40.

At MENO-POSE, we believe every woman deserves to be celebrated.

So once a month, we’re featuring a woman we love for exactly who she is.

And for our very first Pose of the Month, we couldn’t think of anyone better. @amabel.louis 💕

No one strikes a pose quite like she does.

Here’s to the women who inspire us, make us laugh, and remind us to keep showing up exactly as we are. ✌🏽
