Just because someone says that this is the opportunity, doesn’t mean that it’s truly meant for you. Some doors that swing open aren’t always the best option for us. Make sure you’re evaluating opportunities logically and not just emotionally. It may help you avoid certain issues on your way to where you’re going.

Take a moment. Give thanks. Soak in your environment. Be gracious. Breathe deep. Walk proudly. It’s a huge load to be a responsible and accountable person but it’s also a magnificent blessing to be able to do it consistently each day. Take that in and show gratitude for how valuable that is. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

Find a minute. Hit up the homie that makes you laugh. Spend some silly time with your kids. Watch that show that makes you bust up. Whatever is going on today (each day) find you way to some humor. Even if you’re cackling at yourself. It will do your soul justice. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

Keep encouraging. Keep advocating. Keep cheerleading and coaching. Let’s hold each other accountable and celebrate that person the hardest when they reach that goal or milestone. We should all continue to have our circle’s back and keep showing up for one another. It helps keep our community strong. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

Take a deep look. Is it something you could be missing? Maybe get with the person you trust, or even a therapist to help you see things a little more clearly. Sometimes that other voice can really open your eyes to an avenue you don’t see. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

In this life, we don’t always get to just walk away from or take a break from the everyday routines and responsibilities. As much as we would like to snap our fingers and be on a beach, that’s not the reality. There’s always something to do or something to take care of. In all of this, please allocate some time for you to discover or rediscover who you are. It won’t change what you’re responsible for day to day, but it should give you the energy and focus to help cope. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

Some plans aren’t really for us no matter how many times we try to make them work. The key is to open our eyes to what is working and open to us, and to try to make the best use there. Sometimes trying to make something work just burns us out and creates other issues. Let’s all be more aware of what’s for us and what’s not by wearing the shoes that fit. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

What we say to ourselves is important. We have all made mistakes and have had to learn from hard times. It isn’t good to beat yourself up over these things. Creating a routine to tell yourself about the good in you helps you see that you are more than your shortcomings. Positive affirmations and speech daily can help you stay in a mental space that is healthy and productive. Let’s try to start our days with that and not dwell on thinking that will only hold us back or keep us bound. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

Sometimes we want what we want. We get impatient and jump at what we think is the right opportunity. Sometimes we need to slow down and take heed to what our head is telling us. It’s great to use your heart and your gut, but many times the answers are all around us. Don’t just cast them away because of your emotional state. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!

Many of us spend a lot of our days trying to encourage, support, inspire, and just flat out do things for others. Don’t get so wrapped up that you forget to do something for yourself. Try (as hard as it may be) to carve out some time to do something you enjoy each day. “I Just Need a Minute.” Available on Amazon. God bless and keep pushing!
