The one place that feels the most quiet, most at peace, most thrilling, and most self-loving... It's not just being in the air, or being on stage, but moving my body against the air, feeling the wind I'm creating with my own aerodynamics, and even just standing still under the bright lights, feeling everyone stand with you.

There's something special about aerial I didn't ever quite find in dance. I've described it before as being a very kinaesthetic person driven by the sense of touch, there's something about touching an apparatus and moving on it that helps me feel the music so much more. The intense physical feedback in pressure and tension on my body drive my flow, in a way that is so satisfying to me.

Yes, there are a lot of bumps and bruises and burns along the way. And yes, when I perform, I have to keep all of my muscles fully engaged. But somehow the feeling of moving my body to the music when I'm in the air is one of the most beautiful and peaceful and loose feelings I've ever felt 🫶🏼🥹🤍

And then to be able to share my art with the world, and watch or hear even just a few people able to completely feel what I feel just from the energy I brought is a mesmerizing experience!
